Turning 31 this year and I am happy for the timing of this video. Great insight!
49 next month... I feel your pain.
At least you've started to get your shit together at 40 and from what I took away is that you're not just saying all of this for shits and giggles.
No sir, you've honestly dug deep and felt how raw life can be with some hindsight and hard knocks, you've got a pair by taking an honest heartfelt re-evaluation of what is genuinely important in your personal life and have taken a stance, drawn a line in the sand.
I wish you and your family closeness, prosperity and good health, anything else in life is just the cream on top.
I've been a fan since day one. I love the direction of the channel and couldn't be happier for your success
Thanks for the inspiration! Turning 38 soon and doing my third degree in CS. Will be done soon. That challenge aspect is very important, gives meaning and purpose.
I really needed this, thank you.
Dorian, hit it hard bro, reinventing yourself is hard work. Best of luck.
Love the dunk on video games. They are super fucking dangerous because they are engineered to make you addicted and create dopamine feedback loops.
That being said, it is possible to play in moderation (1-2 hours a night max) if you are a disciplined person. I’ve personally given up on gaming altogether and it really does improve your life.
Good point...I'm doing the same for a long time...avoid things that you love is bad for you.
I was waiting for this video to see your progress and thoughts.
great vid Dorian especially loved all the b-roll footage throughout (it's gotta be so much work to film all this not to mention the editing). i've been good about working out but def gotta get better about diet and sleep
A great plan! Wishing you SUCCESS in achieving it.
Thank you for this.
You're awesome and an inspiration!
I feel ya man I'm not in my 30's yet but I'm trying to make hobbies to distract myself on not for pleasures and desires 💯
Dorian you may not realize how much you've accomplished atleast compared to me. You're incredibly motivated and driven and im sure your lazy as fuck! You've motivated me to stay true to myself and achieve. 250k subs incoming bro
Great content, always nice to hear someone improve
0:50 Brother we got to go back to TRUE FREE BEASTS! Thank you for this VIDEO! TRUTH AND HONESTY! IN LINE WITH THA POWER! FEEL THA FORCE LUKE!
Great advice. Very pertinent for me right now.
6:07 yo tambien, terminaba de jugar xbox horas y horas, y al final me sentia culpable de haber malgastado todo ese tiempo en un juego. Tantos años jugando xbox y no me dieron nada...
Thanks for the motivation
you got a wonderfull family God Bless
If all else fails, I recommend "You Can Heal Your Life" by Louise Hay. You can find it in PDF and audiobook formats online for free. I comment this because I really dig your story. Often, we can try all these different approaches and add more to our lives, but, as I'm sure you have found, you can achieve everything you want and still be unhappy.
Our self-talk, perspectives, and beliefs are a big part of the amalgamation that creates happiness and satisfaction in our lives. If we don't change our internal dialogue to be a proactive, benevolent, safe one, it will leak hazard to all the progress we do end up making.
Best of luck on your journey, and I hope you find what works for you in this stage and the ones that come after.
Haven't watched in like a few months and your skin looks more youthful I think. People talk trash on them but I swear the thing that makes me feel superhuman is the good ol bro split. Also drinking like way more water than you think you need. I don't really hear anybody talk about muscle hydration but the difference in my strength and endurance when I'm really hydrated and kind of swollen opposed to when I'm dried out and flat is like night and day for some reason for just how much vitality I feel like I've got for the day.
How much water do you drink? I’m around 2 gallons a day. I feel good, but everyone is telling me it’s too much. I have an active job, and workout a lot.
Flow is a fantastic book.
If only I saw this video years ago thanks
Love this video! The edit is so clean!😮 Currently learning video editing myself! 🙃
Thank you man, I edited this video. Want me to teach you?
@@jerrytravis8604 I wouldn't mind. But only if it doesn't have a cost attached to it. 😥
bro been making killer content lately
Consult a physician, but those teter tables work well for blood flow. Hanging upside after excercises for 3-4 minutes 3x a day works.
Realest RUclipsr out here
And for the first time, I was the first to leave a comment! 🎉🍾🥂
❤❤❤
It's when u get weak, don't allow yourself to get weak
I like these videos
Nice video! Midlife crisis/rut is real.
This is coming from a guy in his 50's...
Quitting weed is a tough one because of benign it feels, but in reality it just a massive time dump.
Objectives, the more precise you are with them, the more your brain knows how to get there. So objectives like, i want to be successful is really a bad target since its too broad. Instead do something like,
1. Make a pet project that demonstrate the skills you have.
2. 1.5 hours of exercise per day.
3. Save 3000 usd at the end of the year.
Etc...
And the most important thing of all, schedule a down time for your self..like a me time atleast once a year.
false sense of accomplishment - beautifully said.
I started skating again, problem solved
I’m glad Johnny Sins is still into it
Soda crush ate at least 200 minutes of my life. If only i could get them back...
Anyone can carve out 15 minutes for a workout. There's so many video that cater to just that.
playing games isn't bad if youre a game developer tbh but otherwise its less important
For the people that literally have no time to exercise, I don't know what else to say other than you don't know how to prioritize your time. If you are working 70+ hours a week, is that necessary? For most people 70+ hours of work a week does not feel necessary. If you need to work that much just to sustain yourself then you got more problems in your life than just not taking care of your health.
It’s an accuse lazy people use and lazy people confirm this excuse as viable when told
@@buythedip5300yep. No one likes to be told they're wrong but it's true. I've been on both sides of that
The thing is youre thinking that that person is working 70+hrs to sustain THEMSELF, thats ridiculous, 90% of anyone who works hours like that has other people that theyre trying to care for and in a society that is still looking at the man to provide even though women make just as much as men and sometimes more, yes we mightve gotten a little better with it but its still how men are viewed, if you cant provide then youre worthless, so most of the time its not, that they want to, they HAVE to to feel worth something. To say that if anyone who works that many hours isnt necessary is like saying you dont need 7-8hrs of sleep, yeah you work off of 3-5 but itll catch up quick
For a moment I thought that was Johnny Sins from porn :)
Start eating high fat carnivore
What Dorian says about focusing on happiness is important. Money isn't the solution to all of your issues, but it can help you enjoy your life more because it gives you stability which allows you to focus on happiness more. That being said, you can make money and not spend your time focusing on happiness in which case the money doesn't matter. Please anyone reading this who is interested in becoming financially stable read these 2 books:
The Wisdom of the Ages in Acquiring Wealth by J. Welles Wilder Jr. (very short book with extremely simple concepts of money... not eye opening, but it articulates the obvious)
Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki (medium-sized book that elaborates a bit more on simple concepts of money)
If you have to choose only 1 I personally would say The Wisdom of the Ages in Acquiring Wealth, but I think most people would say Rich Dad Poor Dad.
Cheers everyone I sincerely hope you all are doing well!
