Well I’m booking my Scotland cruise because of you I wish you could go with me! I’m 72.,and this is the only thing on my bucket list. I’m so excited. The only problem is my ancestors are from Balquhidder. So I will have to figure out how to get there cause that was my plan the flight just Scotland and take the train everywhere but I like cruising and sounds this sounds doable to me. Thank you for your wonderful videos.
So envious of you doign this cruise and seeing everything on my bucket list. (Except the white water tubing! 🤣) As always enjoy the videos. Burst out laughing especially the curried tea. My wife and daughters are big Chia fans. Take care!
The Titanic museum certainly gave me goosebumps, the history of the Titanic has always been an interest of mine. Wonderful video as always Jamie. Looking forward to seeing the next part 😊
Brilliant vlog as always - love Scotland and yes it is the National Wallace Monument opposite Stirling castle and it's a great place to visit. It overlooks the site of the battle of Stirling Bridge. Killiecrankie is beautiful and is also the site of a Jacobite battle. This itinerary looks amazing and although we've been to Scotland loads of times, it's something we are planning to do as we'd love to visit the Irish ports and the Orkney islands. Can't wait for part 3 😊 🏴 x
An excellent private tour around Anglesey, Princess are laughing all the way to the bank with their excursion prices.Years ago my friends parents had a beautiful house right on the coast near RAF Valley, had some enjoyable beerings at the "Fishing Club" on the airfield. Great video as always 👍
Climbed Snowden twice in my life (when younger of course)….one hard route and one easier (but took a lot longer)…I was quite fit then 🤣🤣..im very proud of that! 💪🏼 Loving the vlogs Jamie…and you are GORGEOUS 🤣🥰 x
Amazing vlog, absolutely loved it, and you are really showing the best of Princess - I genuinely cannot wait to embark now! Looking forward so much to the next one.
What lovely ports you visited today. I hope you dont mind i fast forwarded through the titanic museum tours as we are going in 2026 😂. Looking forward to the next vlog 🎉
Loving this Jamie I really want to do a British Isles cruise now. I was in Belfast the day before you! Just missed you. I agree re the buses from the port tsk tsk esp that pricey 🙂↔️
Hi Jamie what a fantastic ship she is the Titanic museum was so fascinating and sad at the same time ive never seen the Northern lights I can imagine how I would be if i saw them would be totally amazing so happy that you had a fantastic time ❤
I went to Anglesey last week for the first time. We went on the Rib ride boats and drove down to South stacks lighthouse. What a beautiful place. Definitely worth a trip back.
At Belfast you can walk into the city from the cruise port in about 45 minutes or take a bus for about £2 each way. The bus stop is right outside the port entrance.
Incorrect / you aren’t allowed to walk to the port entrance from this particular berth and from here it would be MUCH longer - you’re thinking of a berth closer to the city
When we visited Belfast on Regal we chose to do an excursion with Venture Ashore at a fraction of of the cost of a Princess excursion, we are returning to Belfast on our next Princess cruise and will use the taxi option as there are four of us. Princess wanted 36 dollars per person for the water shuttle in Toulon last week, we chose to walk into the nearby town and use the public ferry for 2 euros each. Sadly our option not an option if you have mobility problems.
Goosebumps and a lump in my throat watching the Titanic museum. Very atmospheric and captured beautifully. Not finished the vlog yet. Had to pop on as soon as I watched that bit though. ❤
From NI myself and have never even been to the Titanic Museum! I probably should go sometime! Love the video, but I’m not surprised at Belfast being so backwards and awkward re. shuttles.
Hi Jamie, this is so interesting! Thanks for a marvellous vlog. Unfortunately, I can't justify the cost of doing this trip solo as the price was approximately £2,500 when I checked, and I have Mediterranean and Carribean cruises booked already. If you know of any cheaper deals, please let me know. Your trip to Belfast and the Titanic was incredibly poignant, so I've decided to take a trip to Belfast to sample it for myself! Thank you for the information and the inspiration! 😊
Another quality vlog ty. I hope you didn't get tutted at and commented on being rude leaving the theatre. As we suffered on a previous cruise, we also sat towards the back on end of the aisle to make an easy exit. The show was busy, but not our thing. How I kept my mouth shut I don't know
I've been to Stirling Castle, I walked up the hill, never again.I was given to understand that both the film The Colditz Story and BBC tv series Colditz were film tnere. Also visited The Orkneys but because the ferry w,as !are we could see the Ring of Brodgar from inside the coach otherwise we'd .is the ferry back,
Jamie, you mentioned you were diabetic. I just found out I am and heading on a Cruise in Jan. What kind of tip if any do you have in managing this with all the ship food and drinks?
Always ask that they don’t add simple syrup / sugar syrup to your drinks, avoid cocktails with fruit juice or ask for soda instead, let the maitre’d know on day one of your needs, lots of low or no sugar desserts available
Are you not allowed then to walk out of the belfast port? £16 that’s a rip off. Coming from Belfast area it’s walkable from port to Titanic so why not allow it
Postcard sellers everywhere rejoice when they see Jamie roll up! Loved this insight into Princess. Put a sock in it had me rolling :)
lol on all your comments here 😂
Thanks!
🙏🙏🙏
That Indian food looked like it was worth travelling to Glasgow for! Looked fabulous. The titanic museum looked excellent too
Both were fabulous

Not changed for the worse just yet 😉

How do Princess compare to say P&O price wise for similar cruises?
At Belfast you can walk into the city from the cruise port in about 45 minutes or take a bus for about £2 each way. The bus stop is right outside the port entrance.
Incorrect / you aren’t allowed to walk to the port entrance from this particular berth and from here it would be MUCH longer - you’re thinking of a berth closer to the city
Just watched a video of you 5 years ago lol, you have really upped your game .
Absolutely - I decided to more time into things!

Their transfer / excursion prices are very high!
These big ones just keep on coming! ❤
Goosebumps and a lump in my throat watching the Titanic museum. Very atmospheric and captured beautifully. Not finished the vlog yet. Had to pop on as soon as I watched that bit though. ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
From NI myself and have never even been to the Titanic Museum! I probably should go sometime! Love the video, but I’m not surprised at Belfast being so backwards and awkward re. shuttles.
It’s not Belfast, it’s the cruise company!!
Brilliant video. Must look into a Princess cruise. Was all your gratuities included with the Princess plus package?
Yes indeed

It cost me £1600 for a solo on this cruise - maybe keep checking dates
@TravelBlogJamie many thanks for the information. Thats a great price so I'll keep checking.
Our holiday home is a stones throw away from this bridge
Anytime you want to explore this area just give us a shout ❤

The Titanic museum in Belfast looks amazing.
It really is

How I kept my mouth shut I don't know
Heheh - I couldn’t care less if someone did that to me lol But they didn’t
@@TravelBlogJamie Was their problem not mine.
Any dream will do, ever thought of doing pringles singing on the cruises professionally?
Lolololol 😂
I've been to Stirling Castle, I walked up the hill, never again.I was given to understand that both the film The Colditz Story and BBC tv series Colditz were film tnere. Hi Jamie what is the smoking rules on this ship as you said the casino smelt of smoke. great video xx
All I know is there’s a section of the casino you can smoke in - it was quite noticeable
First time I’ve been able to guess your Pringles sound. Nothing wrong with your singing just my music ear.
lol 😂
do u ever get loss when u walking round
No not usually
👋 morning all
👋
Are you not allowed then to walk out of the belfast port?
£16 that’s a rip off. Coming from Belfast area it’s walkable from port to Titanic so why not allow it
Not in our berth, no - i did object to having to pay to essentially explore
Second time we missed the Northern Lights. 😢
😢
Sorry Jamie that’s way too expensive for the transfer in Belfast 😢
True
Your niece Jami married a young Mathew:)
lol 😂
I thought that too lol
