- In this video I well share with you guys how I fish for tilapia, this easy rig for tilapia will work 100% just make sure you follow my steps and if they there you will catch them, tilapia is a invasive fish here is Florida tilapia has no limit or size regulations, this means you can catch as many you want.
Tilapia is a great eating fish (wild caught) don't eat those farm tilapias from the market.

Thanks for explaining the rig in detail. So many channels don’t say how to do it. I used to live in south FL and caught a few talapia on 1” Gulp minnows. Corn kernels never worked for me.

Hey, just a tips.. you can use white bread to catch tilapia..pinch & make it a small ball bearing size..suitable for those who dont have time to catch worms..

That's my sit up all the time freshwater fishing but you don't need that type of weight couple of split shots will do just fine and yes they love live 🪱 worm's I caught some very huge last week 3 to 4 lb I live in South Florida around lake Okeechobee but I love going in all these canals we have catch em All fish,on🎣💪❤️🙏and Nice video your in a nice hole love it

That snake at the end of the video is actually a glass lizard! :) You can even see it's tail is growing back. They're tails break easily when handled.

Yes I heard that they eat algae and such, however when I was bass fishing at a local pond here in FL for Bass with a Jig Head paired with a soft plastic straight tail minnow they ate it up. I was not expecting to catch White Tilapia but they murdered that set up and some were quite large and made runs pulling drag several times. Go figure, no Bass that day but 5 White Tilapia all pretty large in my opinion (not knowing how large they get) with one being very large, guessing 7lbs give or take.
I fish off a low bridge in my FL community...using just bread...for real..they go nuts....had to move to the side of the bridge tho because they too big to bring up and over the bridge railing..
I used worms too... I love fishing alot
the size of the fish is big, in my area it is difficult to find fish that big. hehe shimano saragoza reel is the best but the price is very expensive for anglers who have little funds🤣. sorry🙏 good job bro ..

Im having hard time fishing this fish. I used worm as bait but they dont bite they just swim around it . I also tried corn and still not effective i dont know whats wrong.

We have a small pond with on!y tilapia. They all fight like crazy to get caught like caught 5 in 5 min but I can't get the big ones to bite on!y tiny and medium barely a meal for 4 from 5 fillets. Any tips?

Never caught one, had a few on in Orlando but this time will be in Naples and Ft Lauderdale, are they thick in these locations and during the winter? Last week or two in January. Seen someone killing them in another video in Port Charlotte, 3-4lbers.
