I really hope this game grows into what was advertised. An actual full island map that isn't mostly empty jungle, and AI that actually has life to it and moves around the map and responds to players actions/objectives
To your point, I feel like most tactical shooters are just playing tactical Barbie. Ground Branch, Ready or Not, Operator, Insurgency Sandstorm. Most of these games have a hop in hop out play style where you play a few rounds to check out a new update then uninstall or forget about it the same day. Whereas by comparison something like GZW, Arma Reforger, Tarkov’s “PVE zone” offer much more meat on the bone (albeit with horrendous optimization) gives you more gameplay loops to sink your teeth into other than shooting a couple bad guys and uninstalling.
Most of these games don't really have much of a large objective besides just go around and shoot people. I think a game like Grey Zone Warfare would keep more players if the servers had detailed and intricate objectives that you needed to push towards for some kind of end goal for why they are at the island in the first place, like having to sneak at night to disable some rockets or takeover certain strongholds to get an advantage over the other factions; being able to sabotage and even have espionage options to prevent expansion over their homeland. Also have a little bit of asymmetrical warfare with the use of older era gear and weapons and having the more risky zones have the better and modern gear and weapons, it would be awesome if they added in vehicles and you could fix them up or upgrade them with makeshift armor or call in resources to have it delivered for armored humvees and such or upgrade a random old school toyota van with a MG on the back and upgrade it with sheet metal armor and larger bumpers
I would like the idea of Neutral Ai that dont automatically shoot at us and hold certain points and have small obj that could reward us, for example at a checkpoint we could find injured NPCS and have the option to give medical treatment, or kill them and take there loot, Could offer us moral dilemmas or rep with different vendors like saving them gives Lab rat Rep while killing could be Handshake, Patrols that roam roads, Bounties on minibosses Just more Side objs
They have to change that you always die after 1 or 2 shots with good armor. And the AI often hits like full Aimbot. They have to improve it. PvP is better too if you dont die after 1 shot , so you have the little chance to react.
Totally. The aimbot and ai detection (especially ft narith, tiger bay etc..)is way too strong. Also agree with the armor comments. I did see in the most recent video mfg posted that they were addressing the ai aimbot in this coming patch.
I'm glad they reset the missions tho, those keep me busy for a bunch of hours. Would be an idea if they ad the option to reset the missions yourself after completion, and maybe get a reward for completing it more than once.
Player movement in this game drives me nuts. Its either full out sprint or super slow. I fall asleep while I pie corners. You get stuck on everything as well as everything feeling awkward. I want to like this game but after about 20 mins i get frustrated with it and logout
as someone with decent but not great specs (4060, 16 ram, i7) - im glad whatever changes they’ve made on the back end have made it playable for me now, but im disappointed that i had to also tank my settings to get there. takes away from the awesome visuals and puts me at a disadvantage in every fight
Which i7? Gen matters lol. I'm running 32gb ddr5, 7700x processor with a 7600xt and this game runs on ultra really well on 1440. Also I hope you're running a minimum of 12 gb vram in your gpu. That plays a part in this game as well
Is it worth buying rn? I’m a person who plays too much tbh and over all the years gaming it means I get burnt out fast on games which kills excitement for playing a game for a long period of time unless it’s a game I truely enjoy which is hard to find now for me..
I won't until major performance and optimization update. I have a pretty mid-tier computer but with friends with beefy computers cannot handle the game. So I shall not play until that day.
-The biggest performance issue is PiP rendering for scopes. -For the rest, with DLSS or FSR3.0 you can achieve something manageable -this game eats ram. I play at 4k, it uses all 16gb vram and 24gb of my DDR4
I have the top edition for this game, completed all quests when it originally releases into EA etc. I think it has promise, like the concept and hope it delivers. However currently the performance is still very poor and overall it’s a pretty empty experience
hey man i'm hardcore tarkov player but tarkov lost his way and u know cheaters f* the game up. how about gray zone , i know people usually defend game that they like or playing but can make clip or can u tell us Gray zone positives and negatives? Tnx
This game has massive potential, but it just isnt being realised. The devs are pretty slow with updates. Although i will say theyve come a long way with optimisation. That said, the game is way too clunky, all the guns feel the same, the ai is insane even still after multiple updates. Its pretty much impossible to use stealth to your advantage. Looting feels completely pointless and unrewarding. I do think however, that when the game is done in its 1.0 state, it will be very good.
You just aren’t playing right then or have wrong expectations. AI is alot better and at night i can almost walk through the most difficult areas without firing a shot and even when i do only nearby AI is alerted not the entire base and idk whats unrewarding about leaving a place with almost 20k value in loot
@@doughyassassin236 Because the loot itself has no value, neither does money. The bullet registration is awful, so no damage is consistent. The reviews on the game speak for themselves my guy. You are in the minority, and just plain wrong.
@dangerranger3297 just give it time, you can play other games if you don't like the performance, and try it again next year. For me it works good enough (60fps on 4k epic, FSR quality and a reshade on my 6900XT, 32gb DDR4 and 4year old i5 10400f. Yes, there is a performance hit with the PiP scopes , but they are working on that
This game has an atrocious player controller, moving around feels very bad and not smooth. Combined with the shit performance it is just an unpleasant game to play.
Gonna disagree with you on that one. Gray Zones movement encourages drawn out gunfights. But if smooth is your priority, there’s always CoD. Or I guess Tarkov, that game is also a shift+W simulator these days.
@OfficerDowns expected "go play CoD" comment. As if in order for a game to be tactical and realistic the movement needs to be junky, with input lag, weird and inconsistent directional velocities and crazy camera bobbing with every micro movement.
@@tzav you must be new around here this style of game is not meant to be enjoyable its supposed to be very hard and realistic which in turn is very satisfying do i like everything about the game no but its very early development give them time tarkov has had 10 years and is still unenjoyable i think maybe this type of game isnt for you i heard minecraft is pretty enjoyable tho
Glad you came back, sir! Nice video.

having 2 mags in the bag is just taking space and weight, mags only work in plate carrier and the belt :)
valid reaction to finding the gen key
with active task key spawn for you personaly (and it's works for all tasks where you need a key)
Waiting for the next big update to hop back in. Idk, this update didn't do enough to keep me interested. Hopefully soon though!

I waited to buy the game after how it was upon release. Picked it up this past week and haven’t been able to play anything else 😂

Nahh I cant find the Chi to want to even start this game again, idk what it is, but that drive just isn't there.
"Can't find the Chi" is the PERFECT way to describe how I feel about games like Zero Hour. Definitely stealing that lol

My PC can't handle this game and unfortunately the devs don't seem to care about it so far
I cant do some missions and loosing loot too much and some issues with the game and then no one want to play co op 😂
I dont like pve at all, is there enough pvp in this game?
Can't speak to that honestly. Reddit may be able to help with that question though
Its not for people who like pvp, more for people who like pve with the possability to run back to your loot if you die.
AI are still rubbish, either totally helen keller or hipfire headshot while facing the opposite direction. Getting there though...
no they gotta fix this game, if you dont do the right mission for the right vendor, there arent enough missions to unlock them all... stupid.
only thing people are missing about this game, is playing a game that runs like it was built by a 3rd grader..
That is called early access, just like other early access games they have their optimalization issues or typical unreal engine issues.
@GhostRecon1983 no. I've played alpha games that ran better by far. This game will never run good.
