- Claire Smyth works a shift in Danny Millar's northern Irish gastropub.
The Great British Menu season 4. Top British chefs compete to have their dishes included in a home-coming banquet for returning soldiers. Хобби
This back 2010. And the best thing is that Danny Miller went through the competition and Claire was eliminated, and she came back to her sparkling three star kitchen defeated by an amazing pub chef
Look, Claire is a great chef, but maybe she can just cook and be friendly rather than criticize him behind his back?
so she is not a snob at all
Damn I use a pan from the 80's Clare cut me some slack 🤣
im sorry, did she just say they would throw away the pans every week...
monkfish stickin to the pan ???? im sure danny had those pans well cured, hot pan ,oil, dry fish , dont touch it , seal it , turn down a bit , it will lift when its ready. and she came up with the excuse of , " oh we only use non stick teflon pans that we throw away every week" WTF
kev d correct i have met english chef can only cook with none stick pan
Why the long face, Claire?
For people who mock Claire, her restaurant now has 2 Michelin star, and she trained her trade all.over Europe,so how an earth you got more knowledge than her
3 stars now
and yet she lost to a pub chef and cant cook fish without a non stick pan that she changes every week,
@@ChampionofTerraso?
@@devinhalim5194So if she can give his restaurant stick then why did his food get better marks than hers in the competition?
21st century fanny craddock
Claire embodies what I hate about female head chefs.
What ?, you mean having 3 michelin stars and an MBE, ?, you fucking troll
Yngwie Hafleur What, talented, ambitious? Yeah, where does she get off.
mymentor She’s pretentious, stiff, arrogant, condescending, and has a superiority complex
she does come over as a bit of a cunt
@@nicholashuynh6385 like a chef?
3 Michelin star chef ... Can't cook fish in a pan unless it's nonstick and less than a week old ... Very talented yeah ... I've always said take away the gadgets and gizmos and most these clowns can't actually "cook" embarrassing
Non stick counts as gadgets and gizmos to you, are you Amish or something? 😂
@Star Shine That's good
"I've always said take away the gadgets and gizmos and most these clowns can't actually "cook" embarrassing"...
... Something tells me you are loser type who watches every Michelin restaurant video you can find on RUclips just to comment about "overpriced portions for ants"..
But anyhow; your comment shows how non-existing your knowledge of the cooking trade is. In cooking, there are no shortcuts or ways to bullshit you to a higher position than you deserve. Those who make it as world renowned chefs made it for a reason; because they deserve it. To even think that a 3-michelin star chef is a clown without talent who only can cook with gadgets and gizmos is just pathetic.
@@SWEMartin Mate, I've seen it first hand. A Michelin star chef came to work in a restaurant I worked at to work for a few weeks. We didn't have the top of the range equipment they have in their restaurant and you should have seen him flapping.
Totally unorganised, burning things and blaming it on the equipment when we had no problem with it.
I absolutely AGREE! These *talentless* so called Michelin starred Chefs can't cook to save their lives without their fancy & pompous gadgets. I myself pride in cooking with sticks and stones by the fire like back in the stone age. I bet the great chefs of the caveman era are rolling in their graves seeing the so called *professional* *chefs* of today. Disgusting.
