I was not impressed at all with this book at all. The writing was weak. The premise sems interesting but shoehorns quite a toxic viewpoint on depression and self harm, implying change in perspective is all thats needed. It's not interesting at all to me. No offense to people who like it but standards seem far too low these days.
Ooh I totally agree with you. I heard so many good things about this book but not much of why or what the book is about, so really appreciate the review! Getting it right away ☺️❣ p.s. love how you are trying different things with contents/thumbnail👍
I picked this book up at an airport bookstore before a Holiday in the Caribbean. I ended up finishing it three days later. Great book. Highly recommended.
so glad you got to read this book! immediately clicked to hear your thoughts ...glad you weren’t disappointed since this was my favorite fiction of 2020 :)
@@officialblondebookworm i picked up a similar book right after that plays on the multiverse idea and it was the absolute perfect complement to midnight library! if you’re looking to explore more sci fi i think "dark matter" by blake crouch may be just up your alley
Great review consider these two international bestseller books 📚 Higher Is Calling & Just eat the worm by Maxwell Adekoje for personal development. Happy New Year 🎊
Any books that have a similar concept like midnight library? Cause I am attempting to enhance my English level by reading, and this book was just good and it gives me the interest to continue reading 😊
Good morning my love. I was searching youtube for a book lover like myself. You have a great channel. I am a book worm through and through and my son loves books as well.. I only read Chiclit, it's my thing ❤ I was going to buy the midnight library but not sure I would like it. Can you recommend any good chic lit books? Have a lovely Wednesday xxx
Ahhh thank you Mrs M! I love chicklit too- I have a video on my top 5 chicklit authors that includes some of my favourite books from them but I would also suggest Sunny Days and Sea Breezes by Carole Matthews. Perfect escapism xx
Just finished The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman and I’m into reading The Midnight Library… I didn’t actually know it was about past life decisions and such seeing as I’m an over thinker I worry and overthink on many many things but I’ll read it anyways
@@officialblondebookworm I liked it ! It took awhile to read because before that I read The Infernal Devices and after that I went into a reading slump… seeing as I read the trilogy in around 5 days or so. It was confusing at first because the joyces diary added in but it was good ! 🙃🙃
I loved the audiobook so much. I want a hardback copy to keep. I do prefer the cover art of the UK edition over the US cover. Any reason to think I would find the word usage terribly dissimilar? Thanks a bunch. Also, I absolutely agree with everything you said about it. Same same.
@@officialblondebookworm Carey Mulligan....but she doesn't really do any unique voices at all as I recall. Loved the story more than the voice performance. Wasn't terrible or anything...but could have been better.

It’s a perfect book in my eyes! You’ll have to let me know how you find it Rachel xx
I'm currently reading this book. The only thing really bugging me is the weird grammar and punctuation.
This has made my decision for me! It’s going on my TBR 👍🏽. Great vid - thanks
Definitely one to be added! I hope you enjoy it as much as did xx
Oh wow, what a great review. Another book added to mt tbr list. Xxx

All of the books I’ve still to read!

Oooh I haven’t listened to the audio book! Who is the narrator? I can only listen to audio books if I like the sound of the narrators voice…🤦🏼♀️
