But in that shrine, he sees that People in here worshipped him as a God instead of fearing him. That is what made Kratos cry in happiness and satisfaction. My heart melted at that point.

I thought it was so sweet that Atreus fell asleep during his fathers story. He couldn’t sleep in his own tent but just by being near his dad he was able to sleep. Even though there is a war, his presence alone was able to relax him.
From 1:26:26 til “what was it all for?” Was great cause it shows Odin really was just like Zeus in his manipulation but probably better, his move set is great cause he’s agile asf while having fast unpredictable moves. This Odin is great
The sole fact that we’ve seen kratos cry once after becoming god of war after seeing himself being worshipped and loved especially after Odin mocked him that he’s never been loved is my favorite part of the entire franchise

The character development was on another level. Even the characters who didn't get as much screen time, such as Freyer or Angrboda had AMAZING characterization. I can't believe I fell in love with someone's glorified OC 😭
Rewatching this hurt so bad. Life decided to hit the fan so bad after Cory Left and watching this video for the first time was peak life and brought back a core memory. I miss you Cory I hope you are doing great now.

Odin himself put these thoughts into Kratos' mind about how Kratos has never known what it was like to be a God someone looks up to, worships or prays to. Kratos has always believed he was a monster all his life and now, he finally saw a prophecy that shows him he is a God who is worth being prayed to and loved. That hit me so hard

Literally watched your entire God of war series, it was as though I binged a movie series. i personally loved your reactions especially because the people around me don't get excited about video games. I loved the way you reacted to the dialogue and all the proverbs in the game.
I think it’s more the peace and the love aspect that made him cry. Spartans worshipped him yes but it wasn’t out of love. The way I interpret the mural is that here he’s seen as a hero and loved by people, as the God of War who brought peace not the one who brought destruction; kinda similar to Tyr.
I watched the whole thing and everyday was looking forward for another episode. I still haven't had enough I just hope there's another masterpiece I can watch Cory play through.
Man seeing Kratos turn from this angry man with rage in the first trilogy to a caring and thoughtful father is just something else, the developers did a very good job

A lot of stories can and have fallen apart because of the “endless possibilities” and hours long gameplay which is why I said what I said :) Most people wouldn’t know how to finish such an epic story and a lot of games have endings that leave us disappointed.

@@ligma3205 no, my statement still stands :) like I said great story telling defies all limits. For example, the movie ‘A Quiet Place’ developed a beautiful story with hardly any dialogue. It evoked so much emotions in those who watched it. I remember when I saw it in theaters and I still remember how the crowd reacted. Story development isn’t solely based on time limits, budget, cast, etc. it’s within in the beauty of the writer(s)’ mind. You don’t always need tons of hours or words to develop a good story. Plus, I said what I said because this game made me feel like I was watching a movie. A lot of movie directors crossover into the gaming world, so though you may say one is an orange, and the other is an apple, they both are fruit ✨

This was one of if not his best playthrough on this channel. The editing in each episode genuinely was some of the best I've seen on his channel. Every episode was funny, thrilling, engaging, and most of all entertaining. This was seriously something I looked forward to coming back to and watching every day like a Netflix show I was binge watching. Honestly, this game is amazing. From start to finish of this entire series I was captivated. Not only that but Cory finds a way to make every situation so much brighter and funnier. He's such a ball of light and joy and he's left me on the edge of my seat every time an episode of his was released. It's been so long since we've had gameplay this long from Cory and it did not disappoint.

There is many more to come after this one. It created a new path of story to be explored. Especially Atreus’s story but I think he’s gonna get his own game. As for kratos he’ll continue to be the protector of all realms and follow after hope.
I first watched this when me and my ex were still together. What Faye said hurt back then, but now that we aren't together anymore, "Culmination of love is grief" was proven to be right and it still hurts.

This was so much more than a game in the end, so much that Kratos was trying to teach Atreus can be related back to our day to day lives, and we can’t forget Faye’s lines on love too. This game was so beautifully put together by SantMonica, and even more beautifully brought to us by Cory! It’s been almost a whole 3 days since I finished this game, and deaths like Freyr and Thor sit with me, Fayes words sit with me, and the idea of not knowing whether Angrboda and Atreus actually end up together or not 😭 But none the less, thank you Cory, for everything ❤️🩹

The first 2 times I watched this series, seeing all the work, editing, and time he put into this series is just so amazing, and it made me realize how much of a long way Cory has come in his RUclips career. Kratos realizing he is a hero is truly heart warming. Not only had he thought wrong about his past and dwelled on it, but he changed his path and took fate into his own hands. A true role model for everyone.

Literally watched your entire God of war series, it was as though I binged a movie series. i personally loved your reactions especially because the people around me don't get excited about video games. I loved the way you reacted to the dialogue and all the proverbs in the game.

I think it’s more the peace and the love aspect that made him cry. Spartans worshipped him yes but it wasn’t out of love.
The way I interpret the mural is that here he’s seen as a hero and loved by people, as the God of War who brought peace not the one who brought destruction; kinda similar to Tyr.
I interpreted it as a beautifully sharp contrast to how he was depicted on the vase in the previous game.

Story development isn’t solely based on time limits, budget, cast, etc. it’s within in the beauty of the writer(s)’ mind. You don’t always need tons of hours or words to develop a good story. I can’t lie. I’m gonna miss this series so much. The story was amazing, the characters all having their own developed and unique personalities, the combat and most importantly Cory’s reactions 😂. Can’t wait for that extra episode ❤

There is many more to come after this one. It created a new path of story to be explored. Especially Atreus’s story but I think he’s gonna get his own game. As for kratos he’ll continue to be the protector of all realms and follow after hope.
I first watched this when me and my ex were still together. What Faye said hurt back then, but now that we aren't together anymore, "Culmination of love is grief" was proven to be right and it still hurts.

This was so much more than a game in the end, so much that Kratos was trying to teach Atreus can be related back to our day to day lives, and we can’t forget Faye’s lines on love too. This game was so beautifully put together by SantMonica, and even more beautifully brought to us by Cory! It’s been almost a whole 3 days since I finished this game, and deaths like Freyr and Thor sit with me, Fayes words sit with me, and the idea of not knowing whether Angrboda and Atreus actually end up together or not 😭 But none the less, thank you Cory, for everything ❤️🩹
