I don't think, in the years I've been watching these nest videos, where the 2 little ones were fed equally and in quantity, without the biggest chick swooping down on them, kicking their ass and then eating all of the food, then kicking their ass again for good measure. It was a real pleasure to see this rare feet of nature. Hope that continues and the little ones will actually make it out of the nest in one piece. So many of these osprey nests have horrible and tragic endings, even for birds of prey.
@Catania Momma Italia It sounds to me like you’re assigning human attributes to nonhuman animals. Osprey moms aren’t mean or greedy. They’ve evolved to be a success in their particular environment, that’s evolution at its most basic. Almost all birds of prey have nest dynamics that seem brutal to us…it’s sometimes hard to remain dispassionate after getting emotionally invested in a particular nest so I do understand where you’re coming from.

Mullet is a great bait for Red drum, Seabass, Flounder, Bluefish, Sharks and when used live; catch Tarpon, Cobia, King and Spanish Mackerel, Grouper, Snapper, Wahoo, Amberjacks
Why is bully outta the nest bowl and not eating? I noticed bully has some blood on his back when he was in frame for a few seconds, did he get injured?

All three survived and fledged. The youngest Paith was the heaviest at ringing.
