Oooooh, that could be tragic! It would really give the sense that he's a passenger in his own body at this point if we see his flashbacks and then him with golden eyes doing out-of-character things. That could be so cool.
The 'misrembering parts of the books' is so true because I was certain I remembered the books clearly until I watched the show💀 For the most part I liked most of the changes, but I still feel like the action scenes were a bit lackluster even compared to the PJO movies, but I guess since this was a series they wanted to spread things out. I did however really enjoy Percy's flashbacks, they built up his character better imo. I really really REALLY hope they give us Annabeth flashbacks with Thalia and Luke in the 2nd season, their relationship would make so much more sense to the series only viewers then. Overall, great breakdown vid! Plus your hair looks super cute
Thank you for this! You really captured my feelings about the whole series and I absolutely love your predictions! The foundation is good and while it has its first season bumps it was fun overall and I think the series will only improve over time. Also your just really fun to watch and listen to.
Thank you so much! That's so kind! Yeah, I really enjoyed the show, and I'm super excited (and ever-so-slightly apprehensive) for season 2. I'm glad I was able to make it entertaining for you! 😊
I would love to see a video of you dissecting Rick Riordan's female characters, pointing out whether Rick is great at writing women or if he still needs to improve on that, etc. Then the video could have split sessions for each character: One for Annabeth, one for Piper, one for Hazel, one for Sadie Kane, one for Samirah Al-Abbas and even one for Alex Fierro
Once again I know nothing about the subject matter at hand and am only here because I enjoy your videos, but OMG that part where you realized they whitewashed that one character had me in stitches 😭😭😭 record scratch moment Anyway, though, great video and GREAT ideas, as usual. Your intro about being The Only One That's Correct about this show is such a relatable mood, and me with every piece of media I've ever consumed.
This is a little important but I would love to see more episodes in the camp before they go on a mission and in these episodes we could have scenes of Percy interacting with Silena, Charles, the Stolls brothers (those two twin brothers that appeared in the last episode left me with an eyebrow erected, could they be the Stoll brothers?), Katie and so on. So we see depth in the camp and maybe... we can see signs of a revelation of a "traitor" to the camp soon this season (if you know, you know) And I would love to see references that we would only understand in a future adaptation of Heroes of Olympus and The Trials of Apollo, the trio could be passing through a cinema and there is a film showing where Piper's father stars, for example. (The news just came out that the Kane Chronicles films were canceled by Netflix, so let's hope Disney buys the rights to the books and makes a three-season series and a crossover film with Percy Jackson)
(I heard about that; I hope so!) Yes, Tristan McLean would be an easy reference to drop in anywhere. They could reference Professor Kane, too- maybe not as easily, but they could have a character casually say they're reading an Egyptology article by him or something. And I agree that it's pretty crucial they introduce some of the other camp characters sometime soon. Especially the ones who will eventually be stricken by tragedy. I talked a bit about Silena in my previous Percy Jackson video, but just in general, I hope we get to deal with more in-camp stuff soon. A Head Counsilors meeting would be great!
I’m like 35 min in so if this gets addressed in a few min apologies, but in terms of Thalia being killed by the furies, that is book accurate, the reason why Annabeth hates cyclopes is because one of the wrong turns Grover took en route to Camp was into a Cyclops’ layer, who then captured Luke Thalia and Grover, and Annabeth had to free Thalia all by herself, and this whole situation allowed the furies to catch up to them :)
@@TheAmityElfhey ok so i kinda wanted to discus for a second the casting of the show. So first i defiantly read the books. I Imagine how they look and everything ect. So yes when it comes to casting as long as the person embodies the character we loved them. So the race isn’t a big deal, matter affect changing it can be very cool and inspiring. Like zendaya being MJ in the MCU is cool as shit. And so is seeing the actress from the Toby Maguire playing the comic version redhead MJ. It’s beautiful as hell to see the fantasy you’ve seen or read in a book brought to screen. It’s an amazing experience. Both takes are great. You can fall in love with a non book accuracy depiction and also fall in love with a book accuracy version. So it shouldn’t be either or. It should be having both versions. Accuracy version brings what they read in the book brought to life. And the non accuracy brings in a different but equally lovable experience. Like i think we will definitely fall in love with this group in this show. But because of the unique character descriptions in the book/fan art by viria, i would really like to see another version with them animated. Like annabeth stormy gray eyes, blond hair and the gray streak of hair from atlas is really cool. And then Percy’s black hair, sea green eyes and the gray streak of hair from atlas. It’s too good! I really want to see adaption of that as well. They’re should definitely be an alternate adaption with changes to race, age or even gender. It’s unique and interesting. But I think their should also be book accuracy one for readers of the books who’ve only had images in their head for so long. It’s like what marvel did with different of avengers or spider-man plot lines. 😊😊😊😊
Btw, those are dry erase markers but that is not a dry erase board, so that bubble map is on there forever.
Season 5 should have luke flashbacks
Oooooh, that could be tragic! It would really give the sense that he's a passenger in his own body at this point if we see his flashbacks and then him with golden eyes doing out-of-character things. That could be so cool.

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! And yeah, the things I remembered just a little to the left are fascinating to me, lol.
The idea of Circe been caring toward the guinea pig boys would definitely appeal to some people.
And they're valid, lol.

Suddenly feeling tempted to patronise my local library for some reason...
Yes! 😁Do it!
@@TheAmityElf Also, how was the beef stroganov?
@@ladyofthelake7624 Lol! It was actually for my family. It had mushrooms, so I didn't want any.
A video about the Avatar Netflix show would be great!
Thank you for the feedback! 😁

Love the video! I really enjoyed the flashback idea, it would absolutely be a no-brainer to make Annabeth the flashback POV character next season!
Thank you!! Yes, it would be so cool!
