Why are youtubers lazy and just copy n paste instead of checking for errors, this author has called every girl a guy at least once, it's very off putting.

That's because most RUclipsrs don't have time because they have their own lives and most of these are Chinese translation and most asian languages don't have words that mean him or her that isn't a formal title. And sometimes it not even the fault of the language because even the professional translation people don't fix it properly sometimes. Plus the gender miss pronoun isn't the main problem with these things because most of translaters are lazy and don't fix the sentence structure. I once read a harry potter Chinese translation fic that I stopped reading a quarter of the way through because it was so unreadable. it looked like a five year old translated it form Chinese to English to only use Google translate to turn it back Chinese then translate it through five different languages then back to English.
