As much as I love Kyoto City Zoo and the Momotaro troop, I wish lovely Genki mama were more tolerant of papa Momotaro. He seems lonely and wanted to get closer to his baby Kintaro when he was born. I can't fault mama Genki though. She is a very loving and protective mama of her children. She's the best mom I've seen so far. Even when her son, Gentaro, was taken from her at 4 days, due to lack of breastmilk, ten months later she accepted him back to raise. That is some mother instinct. Most animals in this situation would not do that. Look at AI in the Shebani troop. She rejected her baby girl Annie. All has still worked out within the troop and Annie has a good relationship with her bio-mom, AI. I think AI was maybe too young to be a mama. Maybe she will try again with a future pregnancy now that she's mature. It's been at least seven years. Keep up the good work with these videos. I love your content. 🥰👍♥️
I hate seeing them only eating grass and bark off sticks. Why do they not feed them oranges, apples, bananas, lettuce, cabbage, celery and bell peppers (they love them). Other healthy foods are given to other gorillas at other zoos and they look more healthy than these animals. The keepers need to see to this matter, it will help them survive much longer and keep them healthy.
I love watching them they are so careing with each other and take good care of her babies
Momoko is real easy going she just walks over and takes Riki when she feels it's time.

This is the Haoko troop at Ueno zoo.
@@deadsmoke198 Yes. I was just commenting on the other two troops I watch regularly. They are all lovely .
@@sjrlas They are indeed.
They are such sweet creatures
Conscious Robot the best really
Why don't they find the older daughter a silverback? She would be great as a mom.

Need titles in English
How much older is Riki's sister? Do you put the troop's individual birthdates and genealogy on your website? It would be nice.
Komomo was born in 2010, Momoka was born in 2013.
