That's kinda the fun in collabs. To compare everyone's interpretation. In projects like this, it's so unnecessarily stressful to try and make it so it all follows one person's view, so might as well just go crazy with everything
I believe what he was doing was attacking to defend he wasnt there to necessarily hit him but hit his attacks he kinda just forgot that other time I believe atleast
The time changes from 2 minutes to 4 minutes just to increase time, they thought we didn't notice

CyberCheese it's because this is a colab more people worked on it. So each one came up with their animation. That's why the art stile and the colors differ a bit.
Also as the battle goes on you het more used to the slight differences of their color.

1. He’s not talking about the lvl +1 moment, he’s talking about the sword that broke at 5:04. It said “Made in China” on the blade, which was hilarious.
2. The kanji technically originated from the Chinese HanZi for defence 防御 (Fang Yu) so it really could’ve went either way.

This scene was from Fate/Stay Night. Lancer vs Archer where both servants used their Noble Phantasms.
The use of Gae Bolg is an attack that can never miss since the blade of that lance is always aimed at the heart of it's target. Archer, who knew about Gae Bolg's ability had used his only absolute defense against it, Rho Aias.
My favorite part was by Rhuke and Andoru

Basically this dude iz the attacker. He does the attacks. But that doesn't mean that the gray mate can't also use magic. Anything that = defense is allowed, even magic

He prolly adapts to the fight as well as changing the shield to take a new attack or the shield prevents him from moving too much if he keeps on carrying it.
