Signal on the left: 5 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a weak-sounding WCH mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
Signal on the right: 5 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
While ATN Z389 was switching, I drove around some more before deciding to set-up at this crossing to try and get Amtrak 20, if possible. Wound-up getting this NS mixed freight with a trio of Dash-9s instead, though the oldest one was leading, which was nice. I would've set-up on the other side of the crossing had I not been worried that it would've stopped on the crossing, like I've seen many trains do here.
This crossing hasn't changed much since I last recorded it back in 2016, though interestingly enough, the Safetran Type 3 that had been here has since died and been replaced by the GS Type 3 here now. Honestly, I hadn't expected the Safetran Type 3 to die before the WCH bell, as the WCH bell here doesn't sound too great...
41st Street #1 can also be seen in the background.
