Signal on the left: 5 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a weak-sounding WCH mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
Signal on the right: 5 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
While ATN Z389 was switching, I drove around some more before deciding to set-up at this crossing to try and get Amtrak 20, if possible. Wound-up getting this NS mixed freight with a trio of Dash-9s instead, though the oldest one was leading, which was nice. I would've set-up on the other side of the crossing had I not been worried that it would've stopped on the crossing, like I've seen many trains do here.
This crossing hasn't changed much since I last recorded it back in 2016, though interestingly enough, the Safetran Type 3 that had been here has since died and been replaced by the GS Type 3 here now. Honestly, I hadn't expected the Safetran Type 3 to die before the WCH bell, as the WCH bell here doesn't sound too great...
41st Street #1 can also be seen in the background.

freebrickproductions Your welcome.
I sat many a day on that guard waiting for the train to pass.
Great video and crossing! I like the replacement e-bell better.

Thanks!
I also realized the gate on the other side is dropping faster than usual.
And the bell
Cool! Too bad that bell does sound bad.
Thanks! Yea, though I'm wondering if it'll outlive the GS Type 3 here now, lol.
Lol. You never know.
