Honored to share my experience and tips with this community. Miri you are truly a gem I want to thank you for your passion and genuine caring personality. Best of luck everyone!
I failed by TWO POINTS my first time testing in 2019, and now in just a month I'm taking the NBCOT again! So much has changed in my own life between then and now, but Miri your videos have kept me on track and been a phenomenal supplemental resource since before I even began studying three years ago! Thank you so much for your time and effort creating this content for us!
Hi Noelle, thank you for sharing a little bit about your journey with me. I'm grateful to know that my resources have been a source of motivation and support for you and I hope you and I will continue to share this journey through the many seasons and chapters of your OT career.
I’m in a similar boat! 3 attempts so far and missed by 5 the first attempt and 2 on the third. We will all get through this, know that you’re not alone!
This channel was a blessing during my season taking the NBCOT in 2016-2017. And by God’s grace and mercy and love, I passed and have been working for almost 5 years as an OTR. And I love this ministry He called me to be a part of. God bless you and your channel, Miri.
God bless your heart. Thank you for having shared your journey with me and staying here in the community to stay in touch. Your words and testimony bring tears to my eyes and my heart is stirred knowing that you're living your life in service to the ministry that God called you to be a part of. For me, this channel is not only my passion, but also my ministry and it delights me to know that you and I are working and living through a shared mission and purpose.
Hi Miri! I took the NBCOT exam 4 times. The first 3 times I never used anything else besides the NBCOT Study Pack. My 4th try I started watching all your videos and also used flashcards. And I Passed! On April 26th! Thanks to your informative videos that were super easy to understand. Thank You!
Congratulations, Jose!! I'm so happy for you and grateful to know that these resources played a part in your success. Thank you so much for sharing this journey with me and allowing me to be a part of it! Wow, I admire your drive and determination to pass this exam. With your tenacity and passion for OT, I have no doubt you'll make meaningful impact wherever you go. Please keep in touch. I'd love to know which practice setting you end up working in. Congratulations again, Jose! This is just the beginning and you'll go on to achieve so much more!
@@MiriLee Thank You! I was fortunate enough to get hired right out of school and the company waited on me to pass. It will be with a Home Health Pediatric company! Super excited to begin in June! Again, thank you!
Hi Miri! I wanted to leave a comment to say that I passed my exam on the first attempt. Your videos were really helpful, alongside the podcast OT Exam Prepper (really great resource for anyone studying; it helped me a lot and I didn't discover it until 1 week before my exam!) I ended up taking almost 3 months to prep (it was excessive but I was being super laid back and inconsistent for the first full month of studying, so it was basically 2 months of prep really). I used AOTA study pack and the practice exams from Therapy Ed. The Therapy Ed tests were significantly more difficult than the actual exam and that psyched me out into rescheduling my exam to give myself an extra 2.5 weeks to prepare, which I don't think would have been necessary because I ended up passing with a score of 540. I almost certainly over prepared and over stressed because of therapy ed shaking my confidence, but at the same time their rationales were informative.
Congratulations! So happy to hear you passed your exam and to know that my resources were helpful to you. Please keep in touch. I'd love to know what setting you end up working in! Congratulations again and thank you for sharing this exciting news with me!
Yes! Dominican University of California forever has my heart as it was my first speaking engagement event where lifelong friendships were forged. Also, I'll never forget the cute, charming little lodge by the campus that DUC arranged for me to stay in. It was such a heartwarming experience all around. So much love!!!
Miri! May you please ask Noémie for her Canva visuals she made? I’m a visual learner as well and would love to study from them! If not possible, I understand. Just thought I’d ask! 🙏🏻

I've been keeping you in my thoughts and prayers and wanted to wait until you've taken the exam to respond to your message. How are you feeling?
