Scarecrow is one of the most underrated villans
I am a batman collector, as of right now just have some Diamond Select PVC's and Kotobukiya (grad school struggles haha), but when I can you bet I will have a DC room like you. I would get that statue, you don't see many scarecrows out there and this one pops....which is often hard to say with tones of brown. I think that the fear gas plays a huge role in that aspect as well. Great Review as always Mr X!
Really impressed with SS on this one. Have 2 more spots left in the batcave and never thought one of them might go to a SS 1/4.

If that smoke was a translucent Green resin (not a fan of the Purple) that lit up would make this statue truly FRIGHTENING. This is a great addition. THANKS for sharing Mr. X!

Looks good! I like the interpretation of scarecrow when you are under influence of his toxin. Very nice head sculpts. Seems SS stepped up their game for this one.
Man I'm not a batman collector at all but this statue is amazing. Im trying to stay with only video game related pieces but God damn this is making me want to make the jump to "the dark side". Great review dude keep up the good work.

Between this & the Arkham Scarecrow you've got, I think I prefer this one (the colors are so vibrant and comic-book-like)

The sculpt is amazing portraits look great cool concept and solid paint. I think the purple smoke looks good helps break up the more dull color direction of the statue. I'm not the biggest DC fan so I don't know how accurate it is to the character but looks cool. Nice grab as always

I think the purple is supposed to be the fear toxin gas if I am not mistaken. Was between this or the new rogues gallery Bane. Bane won lol.

Wow I can't believe I missed this showing of the scarecrow. They really did a sweet figure. By making that base with the dead robin coming out of the grave. It limits it to be a vs Batman piece. Still not a bad statue at all.

I'm a MARVEL fan, but what little I do know about Batman's Scarecrow, I think this is an awesome statue and concept. I actually like the purple nightmare smoke. I think it looks cool and adds a nice pop of color. GOD Bless as always Brother!
Nice Scarecrow statue i think too it's the best Scarecrow comic accurate statue there is especially how creepy and scary yet threatening looking it is. The sickle looks real with the metal like rust paint which makes look heavy. The Jason Todd, corpse doesn't look real after 32 years in the grave you'll think it'll look Skeletal with decay and maybe some worms falling out of it's mouth or eye sockets something to make the corpse look real enough after all those years in the grave, i think they missed the mark on there. But the statue looks nice especially Scarecrow's dynamic pose. Nice review.

For me Scarecrow was always in my tops faves (for viIIains in general or as Batman's viIIains). Reasons being: 1. I already like (or Iove) good horror movies and Scarecrow was always about spooky / scary stuff :D 2. Playing with your biggest fears or showing up your biggest fears was / is often interesting. Sometimes its also about overcoming those fears (even if it depends on what dose he gave you.. cuz some can also be poisoning.. not just hallucinations inducing. Even in the Batman Begins movie it shows that Bruce couId have died if he was not being rescued by Alfred).
The purple smoke is his fear gas I believe. Did you leave the rest of his noose off on purpose ? I’m not a DC collector , but when I saw this I was thinking about getting it. An hour later the exclusive was waitlisted ! I joined the waitlist right then. So far , no waitlist conversion. Was gonna buy the collector’s edition if it went low stock before I got confirmed for the exclusive. Went out on the boat today and came home to find both editions on waitlist ! Fuck me ! Now I’m on both waitlists ! If I get one of these , I’ll start collecting DC ! Love this damn Scarecrow !
Sideshow knocked this one out, i love both heads i have no vomplaints the skin tone awesome eye color awesome, the purple smoke sales the fact that this is a transition piece normal head make it feel like the nightmare is barely starting for batman, but when you switch the head it seems hes in full knightmare mode more wimsickle fantasy and scary..but man this statue is epic
I was about to pull the trigger on the exclusive when it was released and didn’t. I regret that now. Especially with more DC pieces on order. 😔.

The detail on this guy is awesome....I do collect Batman statues...Bane is the only secondary character that I have so far...but I'm picky with my DC characters.

I actually really like the purple color they used for the gas in this piece. Green is too much the Joker's signature. What's with Batman's Rogues... all are different levels of insane and so many use poison as a weapon.

Still this is a good representation of the comic version.

Kinda surprised the base is getting so much love. Looks like a diamond select base to me. I don’t think the “smoke” effect looks good with higher end statues. Sculpt and pose are great though. Thanks for the content!

I guess the second portrait is an hallucination caused by the fear gas, like the robin.

This is an absolute masterpiece... I love everything about it. Purple smoke included. PS - check out your still photo at 9:56. It looks like the chipped off piece of the moss might be stuck under his foot??? I could be wrong. But there's something white poking out from under the foot. Thought it might be the bottom of the chip?

you're missing the hanging part of the noose ... still in the box maybe? *edit* I think you can move the noose from the other head.

I like batman, but I love X-Men grew up reading them so that's where most my money will go for statues. But someday I will get a good batman statue for the he'll of it.

Awaiting my Exclusive! One of the best bases on a 1/4 Scale I’ve ever seen.
One of the best bases for a Sideshow Collectible 1/4 scale statue. There are studios like Prime 1 and XM Studios that create wonderful bases for 1/4. Hopefully, Sideshow keeps it up with cool bases that tell a story.

This is a killer statue! The concept of being under the fear toxin and that base is just so cool.
Someone else probably pointed this out for now, but I'm pretty sure the rope/noose goes with both portraits.
Did you tinker with your video quality/use a different camera for this review? The colors look more vibrant than normal, not as washed out.
