Great catches guys. Those pike have such cool and beautiful colors. I really like the hints of pink and purple mixed with the green and white. So glad ya's got a day of decent action and the Michael teleportation trick was hilarious.
Am I the only one who loves pike fishing!? I've never been musky fishing, but I've gone for pike in Canada and some in Wisconsin. I think it's a blast. Bacon...pike...'Merica
You guys ever used 2 small trebels for the live bait? Over here in the UK we tend to use two and dont really go much bigger than a size 2 most people use 4s or 6s. The small hooks penetrate a lot easier and are harder for the fish to throw. Maybe give it a go next time you get the chance :)
hell yea, awesome video guys. You gotta love that lake for big pike. You'll catch 10 over 36" in one day sometimes. never done it with the suckers, might be something to try this fall yet...
Beautiful fish! seen plenty of different coloured pike but never come across pike quite like those in the US with that purple/blue sheen and 80 billion spots.
Cool video, always enjoy your content. It's been unseasonably cold this fall Which presents a challenge to angling. It's going to be a tough bite by the time you guys get to St.Clair this year, but I feel confident that you can get it done.
Was it Sunday when you guys where fishing? My buddy and I also ended a slime slump we got 4 muskies, 3 34 to 36 inches and a nice 44 incher. Our feeding window was 10 am to 1 pm. I got beat 3 to 1 and lost out on big fish, but I don't mind it was great to get slimed again.
GREAT vid...love catching gators. I was wondering if Michael was on early ice yet...you guys need to unpack your ice gear and go visit him! Can't wait for hardwater here in PA!
After rewatching this, just curious, are pike at all like bass when it comes to cold water and jerk baits? The best pike fishing for me was always the husky jerk. Firetiger, gold, blue/silver, clown and some kind of light brown crawdad color. They all have shred marks
Believe it or not, my step dad would say no to bacon! Crazy right?! Great dude tho. Secretly I think if u don't like bacon, you could be a serial killer 🤣

The best of the great outdoor experience. Wonderful fishing surpassed by splendid camaraderie.

I love pike fishing i am also in canada. Never got to fish for muskie yet.
Pike are pretty dumb compared to Muskie... Both are fun but Muskie fishing is by far the hardest fish to catch
i like the rubber band stopper , im gonna try that one

Small hooks are weaker and require more finesse to use on big fish.
@@Dtmdeman Much higher catch rate though and its how all the UK records have been caught
I love the intro so much!!!!
Nice! You guys have one of the best fishing channels out there!
Still the best channel. Still fun to watch

Good work! Keep it up!
Nice catches. I don't know anybody happy with the Fall fishing this year. Misery loves company?
Hey, which rod is Michael using?
St Croix something
5:25 you know it was bad when they had to cut out the part where he lost the fish
Believe it or not, my step dad would say no to bacon! Crazy right?! Great dude tho. Secretly I think if u don't like bacon, you could be a serial killer 🤣
We're not allowed to fish with live aquatic species in Washington state. Does anyone from your area catch fish using only lures?
Very nice pike
Hurt 5:25 was big!!!!!!!
You guys should check out the fish brain app, it’s free but also really good for fishing forecasts. Me personally have never failed using it.
BACON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To the none northern eye that's a musky.
Nice pike
3:48 That is not the correct way to handle any fish by pinching it's gills!!! You should know better. Have a little more respect for the fish.
First
Looks like you lose them cuz your horsing the fish in
watching the video rn then ill comment if i agree
minute in watching it wonder why he had that huge fish on for 10 seconds then reeled for a second and the bait was already there lmao
So you let them take the bait on the float for a good 5 seconds before setting the hook ?
Just make sure the fish is going away from you when you set.
