Why was Alex saying “you’re better than that” to the referee at the end?

Kasra Ehteshami apparently he really really really didn't like one of the calls late in the bout

Yuki Ota probably studying every frame of this video to improve upon his records of Alex and Nick. Although, I think he'd beat them either way.

@@aronthian9899 He was such a great fencer though. In my opinion, the best. He was great on and off the strip. Too bad he won't be competing in Tokyo, but it'll be a historic moment for all fencers in Japan.

@@ansel8 Oath :)) amazing speed and sportsmanship ^^ but despite his retirement he's still doing amazing work promoting fencing in Japan and its getting quite popular there

I’m just appalled at Massialas interaction with the referee at the end.

if he felt as though it was a bad call he has every right to tell the judge

@@mattclark3047 yes, in a respectful way one can discuss a call. This is not respectful, just abuse that he has learned from somewhere else. And btw I think Alex has some of the most raw amazing foil talent in the world. I’m on his side.
