His best performance is in "Rush" 2013 (it's a Great movie) Others also like his performance at "Bad Times At The El Royale" (it's not a movie for everybody but it's nice to watch him in a way different role bc in Bad Times At The El Royale he plays a type of villanous kind of role)
I actually just finished the movie a couple of minutes ago, and then I see this notification and I’m super happy right now. (Also, the film was really good! Really looking forward to other AGBO productions, like Cherry with Tom Holland.)
As a British/Bangladeshi, I'm proud that the UK has given so much to Hollywood. So it's great that we finally have Bangladesh being shown some love (we are as different to India, as The USA is to Canada). Hopefully more films can be set in Bangladesh and feature actors from Bangladesh too.
My personal theory is that this movie will be the starting point for a multiple movie franchise, I think that the boy will grow into the a Chris Hemsworth mercenary type person and the other boy who shot Chris Hemsworth at the end will become the main villain of this franchise and I think he will grow up to be a big time druglord
Just finished it, it’s a must watch for a action fan, dialogue is a little clunky but that’s more down to choppy writing than the actors who were all very lively and enjoyable in there roles. 8.5 out of 10 easy on the entertainment scale Edit: haha you scored it the same as me
@@theone031 No one is talking about Randeep Hooda because he was support cast to Hemsworth. Randeep played a great part but the movie was Hemsworth. Personally apart from Hemsworth it was the length and manner of the action scenes, how this vast array of characters fitted in rather than suddenly arrived and how somehow in an action flick they managed to create this deep emotional feel. It has very much to do with you being a Hooda fan as wow there is so much in this movie to talk about.
Sean when watching an r rated action film: I love hard r rated movies like this brutality doesn’t bother me at all. Also Sean when watching some random pg movie: WHY WOULD THEY KILL THE DOG 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Love your vids btw :)
I'm waiting to have access to the TV before I watch this film. I can watch it on my phone, but I feel that the action in the film will be too good to experience it that way.
You should rank all 1st places in your film rankings! I was thinking about that for a video then I saw a comment like that on your illumination video. Would be pretty cool!
Hi Sean , I am a big fan of yours for almost 2 years now and I am from Bangladesh. Just wanted to tell everyone that the way Bangladesh has been represented in this movie , it's nothing like that in real life. So please don't judge us by watching some movies. Anyway great review as always 👍
Personally, it would be cool if your intros changed based on the topic such as Action films, Animated, Horror, film sagas such as John Wick, Mission Impossible, and 007, Disney or Pixar, Marvel or DC, etc., although it might take a bit of effort and time to do... Also, off topic but do you plan on a Clone Wars series finale review since the last 4 episodes very much are going to packaged together as a feature finale film and the animation is more closely cinematic (one fight between two characters are actually motion captured)...? Keep it up!👌
Nice review, Sean! Nothing like some 2 and 3 am action movie watching. Glad I wasn’t the only one crazy enough to do that haha. I was really pleasantly surprised with this one. The action was very entertaining and the fight choreography definitely reminded me of the Wick franchise. As you said, the story was really simple, but I thought it was still pretty solid, especially for a Netflix release.
Yes, Sean you came in clutch again I usually wait until your reviews to watch a movie. I think I'm gonna go watch it after the video. Stay safe y'all 🙏
You can't really expect a great story from such kinda movies. These movies are made for action and this delivered. The action scenes and the one take camera work was amazing. Really worth watching.
This movie was awesome. First of all this shows just how good of an actor Chris Hemsworth is. His performance is amazing. The section that was just one big shot was so good. This film is very well directed and the best thing is by far the gritty action. Its brutal and its incredibly well choreographed. Had alot of emotion in it too. The villains are simple and i personally i found it hard to follow who some bad side characters are and why they're doing what they're doing. But it didn't really lessen my enjoyment of the film. This was a fantastic, immersive, tense action film from start to finish
I got scared at the beginning I thought you were gonna bring up “Mile 22” I didn’t read the title. I haven’t seen this movie I’ll check it out this week .
Greetings from Ireland ☘️ deffenitly a combination of John wick.. Jason Bourne..and Ethan hunt..action packed and the Stunts are unreal..I like many audiance are hoping for a sequel..as it was definitely left open for a part 2.. fantastic storyline and cinematography script writing. actors and actresses..this movie also has abit of Leon the professional and man on fire.🤔✌️👍👌🙏🤟
Great Review, Mr Chandler! Hope you and your family are safe and healthy! I haven't unfortunately checked Extraction out just yet but I will tonight. I'm very excited about the movie, I love Chris Hemsworth, I love violent Action Movies so this is one I'm very eager to dive into!
The Bangla dialogues are completely off because of the accent. There is a MAJOR difference in accent between the people of Bangladesh and India (kolkata). They shot scenes from Dhaka but couldn't hire a single Bangla speaking good actor from Dhaka? That was a shame.
Just watched this movie and I absolutely love it. Nearly two hours of a big dude shooting people. Also, because Bangla is my second language, I did not need subtitles at all.
This is the perfect movie for Chris Hemsworth's career, and the broader industry as well; 1. It defines his movie genre from here on out. You can see him now in the hard-R action genre, and doing well in it. 2. It makes a clean break between the Chris Hemsworth of Thor and the Chris Hemsworth after Thor. 3. It opens up new genres so he isn't typecast as being the funny guy in every movie. It stretches his chops to new roles. 4. It raises the bar for action movies across the board. The Taken franchise did the same thing back in the day, but it's 2020. 5. It shows that stunt coordinators can make decent directors if you don't overcomplicate the story and keep it simple. 6. It doesn't try and take out John Wick. In fact, this is the perfect breather/relief movie between John Wicks. 7. It opens up fresh locations for movies. Bangladesh, and the near east are now going to be big places to film action.
What did you think about David Harbours character? I thought he was in there just to sell David Harbour. He was only used to help the relationship between the boy and Hemsworth. I think he was weirdly used
The movie really got the 'character' of the city and the nexus of poverty, corruption and power in some cities in South Asia.. Its not a very common aspect in Hollywood action movies and I loved it... BIG kudos to Mr Hargrave and Mr Russo
Great review Sean my bro I loved this movie it was a blast to watch and I enjoyed how Chris Hemsworth and the kid bonded throughout the movie but there was some scenes that bothered me but all in all still great to watch an seeing the Russo brothers produce it was a blast
The marketing for this really put me off. I’ve seen trailers for this across RUclips and it seemed so bland. Thanks for this review Sean, I wouldn’t have decided to watch it without this video!
My only confused part of the film was when Tyler is near the laundry place at the beginning and he gets a phone call from the guy holding ovi hostage to go over to the laundry, how do they know he is working for the good guys and kidnap him and take him there like did they get in contact with the guy holding ovi hostage and then that was the way they were getting Tyler in there or what
Story is average but that doesn’t even matter - I thoroughly enjoyed it mainly due to the film’s unapologetic approach to murder haha. Many films would be too afraid to show so much gore and wouldn’t dare throw a kid off the top of a building. The action and stunt scenes fill in the emptiness of the story and I’m completely okay with that! Not gonna change your life but a fun watch that you’ll not regret.
I won’t lie I was nervous to watch this one but I was really pleasantly surprised by it. Characters were solid for this type of film the action was of course the standout and it felt confident in being taken seriously. Something Netflix originals don’t always do
At 9:18 go with what I said not what's on the screen. I haven't edited a review in 6 weeks and forgot to change something!
Hah
You said, "Let's move on to the mixed aspects of the film", in two consecutive sentences.
I didn't get it
Joe.wd29 it says skip it at the end. It’s supposed to say something else
That made my day
My man Sean just needs some leather and he’s mad max character
Throw some dirts and some scars and he is the perfect character in the Mad Max universe.
Who ever directed this did a great job! The way the camera moves around through action scenes was phenomenal
It feels like a VR and I loved it. Sam did such a great job. The cinematography in this film was in point.
I loved it such a good movie also hand down Chris hemsworth’s best performance outside of the mcu
Then you should watch Rush or 12 strong, he was also very good in those especially in Rush.
Sam Poppitt or El Royale
Yup.. i love rush...i think from that movie i know he gonna be one of may fav actor
Sam Poppitt you’ve not seen rush

Randeep hooda and Chris hemsworth just nailed it

LoneWolf245 - yeah I also enjoyed it
Hxnrytaylor18_ dude that’s exactly what I thought😂
I thought it was fine. I wanted more character development but the action was really good.
Dang when I saw the cast of the movie Chris Hemsworth and some Bollywood actors, never would've imagined this. Amazing actors with talent though.

I will check this out Sunday evening. And come back to this! I can't wait to see a new Chris Hemsworth movie since Endgame.
Love the Steve hair-rington shirt
Good to see you finally back with a movie review
The standout for me in this film were certainly the gorgeus shots. They were executed to perfeftion!
Robert Marginean that knife fight tho 🤩

It's weird no one is talking about Randeep Hooda (Saju), it has nothing to do with me being Indian, it's that he deserves much more recognition

Really solid action movie IMO.
That one shot sequence was incredible!
This movie has som of the best action scenes, long shots. It was great. Love Chris Hemsworth as well
