    Good video. Few insights…for such a long and thick cutting, you need more soil to get better roots without up potting it so quickly when the roots are fragile. I go with a 4x9 treepot to start. Also, you can seal the top of the cuttings with a waterproof wood glue like Titebond. Lastly, the soil moisture level is very important especially for beginners. You need “field capacity” of soil where you can squeeze the soil to a clump but can barely extract a drop of water out.

    Very cool. We planted a fig tree a few years ago....so far it has not produced
