You said something near the beginning about 'just find images that you like' and I was struck with why I've had so much trouble. I don't know what I like. Or rather, I don't necessarily like what I see everyone else using which left me going, "Well, what else is there??!!" Across the course of the video I began to have some more ideas about what I actually might like, which feels like a facepalm moment now but it was a mental stumbling block. Thank you for the moment of realisation and the inspiration to move past it. And yes, would love to see more. It might seem boring to you, but seeing other people's process, particularly when you narrate (and sing!) as you go, can be very educational.
I could watch you decorate ephemera for hours. I always get hung up on getting each piece exactly right, but you just go for it and everything comes out great. You encourage me to just have fun and make stuff without worrying so much about it. 😊
I love how you partially fussy cut the swan. I hope you are feeling better. I've been enjoying your videos. CONGRATULATIONS on using the container concept!!!! Thank you for getting into the nitty gritty of focal points. I'm sorry your back is starting to hurt. I can't craft as long as I used to without pain.
This video has been so useful for me Darcy, I have 20 plus tags and journal pockets to add focal points to. Thank you, as always an inspirational video. Congratulations on your 5k membership! 👏🏻 😊❤
Hi Darcy, I'm definitely in the camp of "I want to see more" 😅 Congratulations on reaching 5K🎉 Thanks for all the ideas on where to get the focal points. TFS 😊
Congratulations on hitting 5k!! Thanks for showing how you mass make the tags! Never thought of pairing the focal points to a group of tags and then circle around to finishing. And....I always like watching you finishing up the tags to see what else you add. I sometimes get stuck on wanting to only add "relevant" pieces or searching for the "perfect" piece. lol I need to make some of those bits to add when I can't seem to find something that looks good to my eye. 😊
I'm new to your channel. Love the way you choose focal points for your pieces. They are really cool. I saw the butterflies stacked with the white one on the top seconde before you said you were going to do it like that I watch Barbara, Luise, and Tina regularly Tina does mass making like you're doing. Her style is right up my alley All three of them are very creative as are you !! TFS
Hi Darcy - thank you so much for these awesome focal point ideas and tips! So fun! I found your page by way of HowDoYouDo challenge and I love your page and style! New subbie here 😊 I was curious though, about the Mixed Media Bloom Digital for the HDYDA challenge - I loveeee that digital! Is there a place that I can purchase? I can’t seem to find it on your kofi. ❤

You doing the Ceri March thing???? It's not that I don't like mice, I don't like Efie or AI, I think you can draw so many fun and funny focal points or find them hither and younder. I just spent a bunch of money at PMArtists on foam stamps including some of yours. Keep making all kinds of stuff and panty papers and such... I have a great unmade trash journal and that it a lot of fun to make although I haven't started it except it's really full of junk. Let us know about the Ceri project and if you might make some new paper out of stuff.. !

I'm so pleased you had that epiphany! I will do more videos working on the ephemera. I don't find it boring, but I worry others will. Love&hugs

@jackielubeck I'll be participating in Ceri's collab in March as much as I can. I'll be in Massachusetts March 8-24.

No rules for Junk Journaling ... no rules for Focal Points. Doodled images are fun focal points... just sayin.
Agree 👍
I spent about a month doodling collage fodder on magazine pages. It was soothing at the time and gave me lots of ephemera! Lol
@karenrawlins9741 nice!
Victizi????
@jackielubeck www.vecteezy.com I'll put it in the description box.
@@DarcysMixedMedia What's even funnier is "teezy" means "my butt" in Arabic so for me it sounds doubly strange.
Oh yes congrats on your 5k subscribers
