From ‘05 to ‘10 LD Bell medaled at Nats every year, and for my money were the best group of that time, titles notwithstanding. The level of what they were attempting both from an individual and thematic perspective still stands out today. I especially enjoy all the little continuity Easter eggs throughout this trilogy, like how the “path” that they ascend at 2:05 is brought back in their ‘06 program, except with the guard descending. Great stuff.
You could possibly infer from the titles too: Ascension is the beginning, the Remaining is the conflict, Transcendents is its conclusion/resolution? to the "story". Haven't figured out what the story is yet...
I’ve heard it was an interpretation of the Rapture. The Ascension of Jesus’s followers, the trials of the people Remaining and the transcendental state of being in a new Heaven with Christ. But I could be wrong.
@@2000sBandVids Hey, audio only is better than nothing at all. I sort of vaguely remember how that show sounded, but that was my freshman year/fall season of band and I am still good friends with a lot of Broken Arrow folks since then currently. =)

Callbacks to previous years or not, the action of this show and its meaning are indecipherable.
THANK YOU1 I have been looking for years for this video. The trilogy of 2005, 2006, and 2007 shows now make complete sense to me.
Can you explain them then?

The genius of Wes Cartwright. His show designs have brought a whole different level of creativity.
