Another great way to pimp your crossbow is paracord! You can get almost any color combo and just wrap grips or add it to all different parts, I got a black and orange pattern that matches my wicked ridge
Rich, I appreciate a good quality crossbow and all the bells and whistles. But what I am really interested in is how simple the weapon is to operate when Old Mossy Horns slips out of the brush at 16 yards and you didn’t expect his arrival at that time or place. The shaking the surprise trying to maintain self control, simple is what is needed! 🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌
SWAT X1 felt like second nature to me in my first season hunting with it. Never had to give it a second thought, simple as it gets. I will have to hunt with this one to tell you if it's the same or not. We'll find out together LOL

There is a you tube video: What Deer See and Other Whitetail Research Part 2. I found it fascinating. After watching it, I will never again ask a lady with blue eyes to go deer hunting with me!
I like Hawke and Killer Instinct scopes.....if it came with a cheap junker from the factory I swap that out immediately. I have guys I work with that have a bunch of kids and not much toy money to spend on their budgets. They are waiting in line to buy any and all my takeoff items for a bargain price. I never toss anything in the trash and can sell it to recoup some costs. I also seem to like florescent orange strings or servings for obvious reasons. That way you can see where it is and where it's going at all time. Camo wouldn't be cool in low/no light or hunkered down in a blind or tree stand covered/surrounded by foliage. You either are going to shoot the limb/leaves or your hand or fingers. I want to see where it is and it's travel path at all times. The last one is a nice case. I like hard ones that are well made and durable to protect your crossbow.
@@Deathbybunjie Also the scopes on my cheaper Barnett, Killer Instinct and CenterPoint crossbows. Somebody that broke theirs jumps at the chance to replace it with a takeoff identical OEM replacement for "lunch" or $15 - $20. 🙂

@@Deathbybunjie I am actually using the same arrows that come with the Crossbow and I bought them at Cabela's, so I don't think I made any mistakes and I have already changed the limits twice and This month I'm going to send him new laces before the season starts.

The Bunjie "Legion" of crossbows. MY Barnett XP350. I'm not so up on a heavier arrow, but what would be your suggestion on the heaviest arrow AND Expandable Broadhead?
I like it! I think if you're around 450 grains total Arrow what you're doing pretty good, probably whatever Arrow you're using plus a 150 grain broadhead. Play around with a calculator on my website if you want exact numbers but you're probably in the ballpark right there!
I only have two. Both are used for different reasons. Depending on my hunting style that day/trip. Each is a tad different. But, I've only worked hard for 42 years. Just throwing it out there. Lol.😊
Why are people against thin blue lines on the grip? I think it looks cool and patriotic most Americans are very proud people. I am confused by this. But being from Canada I don’t fully understand all the little quirks.
Have to spring for at least one high end one after you acquire so many upper midgrade or midgrade line crossbows and are keeping those too. I want a Scorpyd Deathstalker LT then I think I am good with all the others.
