Love your presentation but you need to either talk louder or get a better Mic although audio quality is good the volume is a little low , many it's just me but great material .
@@RagtopHistorian if you’re interested there’s some hidden history in the city few know about , it’s the tunnel system there tunnels all over downtown area some from Alamo well to river walk but when they found it building the river walk it was sealed right away since the wooden timber was so rotten and the Saint Anthony hotel had an entrance in there basement saw it is mid 80’s before renovation the power company uses it to get electricity to all the downtown ares
Yes, but it was right beside the bar, LOL. Gotta have cash sometimes! To be fair, those phone booths are some of the newest things in the hotel, believe it or not. Almost everything there is very old. Thanks so much for watching!
Stayed in this hotel. Very cool. Bar had TEDDY ROOSEVELT's awesome ROUGH RIDER exhibit.
You can just feel the history there! Thanks so much for watching and sharing!
I have receipt for the restaurant April 30, 1876.

We hope to be in the San Antonio area next February. We will have to pop in the Menger and take a look. Thank you for giving me the tour! Mary

@@RagtopHistorian your welcome. 1st time I stayed on the Victorian side and it was creepy
I bet it was! I want to stay on that side again as well! The ghosts reside there, according to legend!
It was crazy seeing a modern ATM machine next to an original wood telephone booth.

Don't miss the Mango ice cream, they're famous for!
I stayed there last night
I’ve stayed there. No hauntings. We stayed there several nights.
It’s an amazing hotel! I didn’t see a ghost either, but I DID feel the immense history! Thanks for watching!
It's very gorgeous.
