I love Sufjan Stevens. I hadn't heard this song in a very long time but watching this version of the song made me go back to the original to familiarize myself with the song again. Listening to the original and comparing it to this version made me appreciate this version more than I had initially. To capture the essence of the song, which has a lot of instrumental texture AND sing the song is... well...unfathomable. This version is as much of a masterpiece as the original.

As a guitar player myself, I can only imagine how frustrating it was to transcribe this masterpiece, but you did it perfectly. Every element and instrument of the song was present and accounted for in your version. Really can't say this enough, this is beautiful.

Only ever seen James Taylor change the position of the capo mid-song. I've seen almost everything you've ever done and this might be the most impressive, at least in part because it goes on and on! And singing over all that crazy syncopation! I half expected Carson to come in at the end and douse you with a bucket of water.
