Incorporating the screen/pick is creative, but certainly not worth the effort, in my view. In practice, your players would have to be A LOT more subtle to avoid getting called for impeding. I also wonder if the player setting the screen/pick might be far more useful by quickly moving to space and creating passing lanes instead. It seems to me, there are far more efficient off-the-ball plays than setting a screen/pick.

Thank you for your comments. Although we agree about players learning to be subtle so they do not get impede, the pick is meant to be properly timed and executed at appropriate times as well as having the player setting up the pick be fluent off the pick and incorporate himself into the attack by creating another passing lane. Just another attacking tool, liked by some but certainly not for everyone.
