I always love hearing about the Walpurgis games. I may have to try to get my group to do something similar since there's so many monsters that I'd love to run but don't want to risk a TPK.
Definitely like to hear about your favorite kills over the years. Also like to know how the game went last night! Apparently you got all 6. What was their first clue? Who did you get first? Who survived the longest? Nice to see those old FF monsters again after all these years. Thanks!
Loved this page. The Berbalang, The Blindheim, Giant Bloodworm and I want to say the doombat? no the giant bat the blood hawk and the bonesnapper. Art in the fiend folio was so evocative. Used the Bone Snapper, the blood hawk and the berbalang but never the Blindheim. Harder on the infravision. Nice.
Idea: if blinded spellcasters try to cast an offensive spell in the chaos of melee, might they not have a significant chance to get turned around and cast the spell in a random (i.e. wrong) direction? Devious DMs would like to know.... 🤔
Hey, Tony. Can you do a video on AD&D, Artifacts & Relics? I’m really curious to read in the comments for that, who has used which Artifacts (arcane or non-religious devices) or Relics (divine or religious devices) in their games or campaigns, and what functions they had. I know there were also a few modules which also had some, such as Vecna’s eye & hand, or the Rod of 7 Parts, or the Wand of Orcus, or the Crook of Rao, or Daoud’s Wondrous Lanthorn. In your Bard video of a couple years ago, you mentioned that a couple of “A&R” men looked up some Instruments of Bards for a musical 🎵 production! I think this could be a really interesting and fun topic of conversation! Thanks.😊
@@page121tabletoproleplaying4 Yeah, I totally get that. I think you might want to do a longer video with a general overview, and then follow that up with a shorter regular feature every few weeks specifically focusing on a specific items. You might even want to start with a pilot video asking for interests and suggestions.
@@docsavage8640 well back then when I bought the two at the same time I can compare them, the Fiend Folio had bit better art and the monsters were out there like the Son of Kyuss etc. the Monster Manual 1 was good a classic but I felt the Fiend folio was superior.
Definitely want to hear about your chump kills.
Great video. Never encountered this monster at the table.
Loved the Folio. Wish I still had mine.
Hypno toad
The Fiend Folio loved the frog/toad based monsters.
I enjoy all of Page121 Tabletop Roleplaying Games videos 🎉🎉😂
Would enjoy seeing scenarios set up in the past. A best of series.
I'd love to see some of the level 20/20 leveled gods from then old manuals get a spotlight.
Spotlight? Get it? Get it?
I'll show myself out.
Sounds like someone got called out!

We had a blast. Six characters killed in an hour. Everyone loved it.
Thanks for the video! The Blindheim = Worst Sandra Bullock Movie

It would have been cool if you videoed your game

I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do Artifacts and Relics. It will be coming but may be a little while.

The fiend folio was far superior than the Monster Manual bought both in 82 at a Sutter street SF toy store .
That's not what I heard

I don't want to ruin your fun, but do you know that Walpurgis is a Spring holiday? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walpurgis_Night
Yes, I do. So is the feast of St. George.
