    The hair is extremely well done. You have really managed to create the different textures and they are clearly visible. Silky, Soft, Medium, Course etc. You can really see it. You have a really good way of teaching too. It is never boring. Thank you

    My elderly father is seeing digital animation for the first time. I used this video so he could understand how the technology works. He was so impressed I heard several wow’s when you started drawing. That’s a big compliment in this house. While I know your goal of this video wasn’t to educate old dogs about new tricks but it sure worked for us. Thanks for sharing your talent! Bonus: I got to brag.

    I just wanted to say. I am a student of the trade, I saw your tutorial for drawing creatures a couple months back and stayed up all night tonight trying to find it again. I saw the channel name, instantly remembered this was the channel I was looking for, watched thid video, and then proceeded to purchase the brushes. Thank you very much!

    I just bought the set of fur brushes. They will paint some very nice tigers and lions.
    I come from a traditional medium, I am used to pencils only, Faber Polychromos, Prismacolor, etc.
    I am a beginer in Photoshop and Painter but I am doing my best to catch up with digital painting!
    It will take a while until I will put the brushes to use and come up with a good painting. I am still learning my way around Painter and Photoshop.
    Thank you Aaron !!!!!

    For those who wonder how to get the brush to follow the orientation and direction oh your brush, I think you have to go to the brush preset ( press f5 ) and clic on " shape dynamics " and put the " angle Jitter " control on DIRECTION and the "size Jitter" on PEN PRESSURE. more info here : www.photoshopessentials.com/basics/photoshop-brushes/make-brushes/

    My problem is I can't seem to make short fur and the method of going in with a hard round brush really produces bad results. It becomes muddy and uneven, patchy looking. Can't seem to make a brush that looks right either.

  • @eamr01
    @eamr01 4 года назад

    Hi Aaron! I bought these brushes for Photoshop CS6 and they're lovely. I can't however change the hardness of the brushes, but when I select a brush that isn't from this pack, I can select the hardness. It really only happens with these. Can I solve this problem somehow, because I can't use them properly like this.

    How do you create a brush in Photoshop that follows the brush direction? All I can make are ones that only make 1 shape in 1 direction, no matter where the brush direction is going. (Do you change the 'spacing' to enable that?)

    • @jimmorrison5424
      @jimmorrison5424 6 лет назад +1

      TheArcticPug hello, I’m sorry if it’s too late for answer your question, today I watched the video and I had the same question, after searching a lot and experimenting I figured it out. Go to brush settings> shape dynamics> angle jitter and then select control and turn on “direction”, that is going to make your brush following the brush direction / brush stroke. I hope this helped you.
