Hello, thank you so much for the info, it has sorted out my confusion to a huge extent. What i am still confused about is that, once i get to know the polarity of both the coils in a humbucker, how do i determine which of the 2 sets of +ve/-ve become the center link for series and the other for Hot and Ground? Or is there a specific way to determine this to get all the properties of a series humbucker right. Thank you

Depends on whether you want to wire them in series or parallel. If you wire in series (most common), you would pair one positive and one negative together, tape them back, and use the other positive and negative as your leads for wiring. For series, pair two of the same polarity wires and use the other two for your leads.
For hot/ground, it doesn’t matter which of the leads you use if you only have one pickup. If you have two or more pickups, you will need to test their phase. I have a video on that as well.

Hi, can you share the link to the pickup phase video you mentioned? Thanks
