- How to Punch Hard with your LEFT HAND
Of the time the left-handed fighter got a higher rating than the right-hander, the research found. Researchers found left-handed males and females perform better in fights supporting the "fighter hypothesis", which suggests they have a greater chance of winning fights due to a "surprise effect. So you should focus on your Left Hand Punch Level, you should work on to Punch Hard with your Left Hand.
Let me give you a few examples,
Now think about this every time you're throwing your left hand from this point on there are three concepts.
Number one, using your shoulder to bring it back, using your shoulders to bring the hook across, using your shoulder to pop up the uppercut. That's the rear shoulder we're working for the left hand but think about using your rear shoulder to create more havoc and more torque on that left punch

The second thing is, transferring hip energy from the lead hip to the rear hip. Here you can pull your body back towards that rear hip. Think about that one as well you need to know when to cut down the angles. You need to know what distance you can throw your hook. So, you don't miss the heavy bag and also when you're throwing that left jab you need to understand how much distance you need to step in to make it effective.

Recently really started focusing on utilizing slight, quick shoulder movements with the jab. Love these videos on fine tuning technique, coach.
When you incorporate these techniques naturally, you'll be faster and more powerful with the left hand shot.
Yeah, I needed to see this. Thanks!
I've always been right handed, everything! When I saw your first boxing vid I decided I'd try it and learn ambidextrous. So whenever you say "1,1,2" I'll do left, left, RIGHT. Then after a few reps switch to right, right, LEFT. It has helped me a lot. I think my left jab is now stronger than my right.
Working out to your videos daily, love ‘em.
Best boxing workouts on RUclips. 🙏🏼🙌🏼
Thanks, Nate.

Love it! It’s a pretty standard protip. Just make sure your head stays straight when you pull the shoulder back. 👊🏽👊🏽

Great video
thanks my right hand is broken at the moment and i have a fight so this help me alot🙏
I love the shoulder tip. I'm always afraid to pull back because of telegraphing. But I guess there is a time when that no longer matters.
Highly effective
Love your videos bro
Respect!! 👊🏽👊🏽
Thank you, excellent key points for me to take away. My left hand has always been weaker than my right. 👍
Until now! Let’s gooooo!
Nice bag!
I need this my jabs are weaks I've been using my core more for power.
Get after it champ!
When fully extending a left straight I lose accuracy. But my hook feels much more comfortable and accurate. Should I work on strengthening the muscles surrounding my elbow? I am a linkier person I want it to be able to utilize distance hope the question makes sense. I will say that repetition with shadow boxing has greatly improved any punches I throw with my left hand.
I am left handed, despite that my right hand punches harder and faster. I can never throw the first hit from the left hand. I gotta throw the right to make a chain to use the left. Which i think puts me at a much bigger disadavantage. I been trying to punch harder with it as i condition it. But no luck on the left hand.
Is it normal to feel weaker when your older when punching? Or is that all in your head? Like I'm right handed but for some reason I feel like my punches are or maybe weaker... I saw your other video about putting lightning in your punches. I haven't watched that yet but is that what you're basically gonna talk about in that video?
