I am so glad Trev, Emmett, Steve and Nic clicked so well. They definitely have a positive vibe and it is contagious. I am so excited for the release of the new album.
YES! Bring back the bands!!
My wife and I really enjoyed seeing Genesis in Chicago with Nic on drums. She last saw them in '81 in high school at the Rosemont Theatre. I saw them in '92 in Philly's Veteran's Stadium.
Thank you John. Great interview. I wish these guys great success.
These guys are amazing and I can't wait to see them. Unspoiled and grateful. The only feedback I'd give them is with the videos, let the music do the jamming and slow the camera movement down on the videos. Especially as a new fan I want to see you guys I want to hear you guys without the distraction of camera angles and quick flash views of each of you. That may be a throwback from my younger days but just wanted to throw it out there for you
Great part 2! What a great couple of guys. Thanks to you John for the interview.
I'm looking forward to enjoying their music. Grear interview keep up the good work you and your wife do on this channel John.
love the tunes and the logic of the connection, keep rocking on guys
Very cool. I'm really looking forward to the whole album.
Can't wait for the album!
These guys are loaded with talent. Doesn't matter who they're related to, good music is good music! ❤
Can't wait for the album
Good to hear !
Great music always has a fan base...God's love to yall
Pretty cool that Leland Sklar played and toured with both of their dads.
I'm just amazed how no one talks about Simon Collins (Phil's first son and would be Nick's step brother) who also is a drummer by the way and has had a solo career with his own solo albums plus the band Sound of Contact (with Dave Kerzner) and most recently his new group Emolecule (with Kelly Nordstrum) who also was with him in Sound of Contact. Excellent music released from Simon over the years. If you haven't heard of him then that's your loss. He did a song called 'The Big Bang' on his 2008 release 'U-Catastophe' which is an instrumental song with Phil Collins drumming along side him. Fantastic song. He also did a great version of the Genesis song 'Keep it Dark' and definitely sounds like his Father. Because Nick drummed on the last Genesis tour now that's all anyone talks about although Nick hasn't done anything up until now. Simon has definitely gotten the short end of the stick.
Except for the darker hair and deeper voice, Nick really does favour his Dad. That really is the Phil Collins face and eyes. I saw Genesis play live when Phil was in his twenties, like Nick is now in his twenties. Time really does fly. I feel old now 🤣🤣🤣
Trev and his band brothers are absolutely amazing!!!!!
Jon, Karl Wallinger of World Party died today at 66…..
Yeah, I did the same and after a stroke got back to my 80s material 🙂
Great interview. I’m really glad you didn’t hover on their fathers. Everyone needs to appreciate Trev and Nic for their own musicianship and talent.
I wish I could find some people like that I havent had any luck.
Way to go Trev!!!!
Excellent!
Checked out some tracks... solid stuff... I'd say way more '80s than '70s for what it's worth. Either way, any current act championing rock today is a friend of mine.
The 70's was a great time for rock.
Abandoned Fantastic 💯
I look forward to hearing The Effect Band. I love Genesis/Phil Collins and I'm seeing Toto with Journey in April. I believe the next generation (these guys) will be great.
Hiya John. Hello Shannon.
Nic really looks like his daddy
Good luck gentlemen
A.) Does this band not have a bassist?
B.) I’m not sure how to categorize their music, but I really like the two sides now I’ve heard. Right on, guys.
If you don't think the 70s are coming back, then you're out of touch. It was the best period of music in this country. People are starving for real music.
I believe Trev is married to Jonathan Cain’s daughter.
Yep.
You can't escape DNA. ☝️🙄
And John B I wish I could contact you.

What's the bands name?
No LSD there!!!!!

You would think there would be at least SOME music samples, wouldn't you??? They even show them playing but no sound! WTF?
Good. Modern music sucks and there are nothing but cover bands by this generation that has no original ideas.... About time someone brought real music back.
No Bassist ?😕
Sorry, but rich musician kids won't do it for me - even with a media push
Totally agree......I say that without listening to "The Allman Betts Band" though......but holding your own against the Allman Brothers?......offspring or not it's a big ask
What’s music gotta do with money ? Third word of your complaint is « rich » before anything else… Rich or not these guys are good musicians, they bathed in it and were able to learn and develop as musicians with the support of their parents, probably also the best teachers in the world.
Money transfers easily. Talent doesn’t. So keep an ear out for them and give them a chance 🤗
Plays none of their music.
