I have found that direct guitar lessons via Skype or FaceTime are valuable tools for learning. I teach complete songs, riffs, theory and techniques in the styles of: rock, metal or blues. Let's schedule a guitar lesson and take your playing to the next level!
One of my favorite Van Halen songs. Appreciate this Charlie and always love your videos and watching you play
I can't tell you how much I love your channel, and your passion for Van Halen!
This is just one of those songs thats so fun to play..
Well Done Sir Charles!
Thank you so much Charlie. Looks like you took over where Eddie left off. Us guitar players need your Van Halen lessons. Cheers.
Been working on this song a while but I did learn a few things I was doing wrong. Thanks!
One of most wicked pick slides ever. Thanks Charlie.
Great lesson, I am practicing this everyday now till I get goose to perfect.
Out freaking standing!!!!! Most people would take 20 minutes to break that down. Thanks for sharing.
Finally… someone made a video that was easy to follow along. Good job. Would love to know more about how you got the OU812 tone 😊
Man I love this song, thankyou 👍 can see why Eddie constantly had a grin while playing👍
Thanks man, u made my week
Could u possibly do a video on some good evh tones for the katana
Thanks Charlie. Hardest thing for me was clearing my pinky for the Open B and E strings.
Crushed it! Your content rules, Charlie! Keep it up
Well down Charlie..straight and to the point. Mind sharing the backing track so we can all jam. Thanks.
nailed!!
really great stuff..... so well done ..... talent and tone
Great job , you made it easy learn thanks.
Thanks for the lesson!
This is such a great lesson! I got the intro down way faster than I thought I could. Only part I'm struggling with is the volume raising part at the end of the intro and the pick slide going into the verse. Maybe would be a cool video to teach those tricks. With the volume, are you just supposed to keep one of the pickup volumes sort of low in the intro? I feel like that takes away some of the effect of the gain on my les paul. Thanks for this great lesson!
edit: I think i got them just need to work on them a bit more, raised my master and lowered the pickup volume. And changed the angle of the pick and looked up at a video tutorial online for that trick
Thank you so much 😊
Please give a thumps up. His ratio should be way higher.
Wonderful...
Thanks Charlie 🙂
thank you so much man!
Thanks for sharing this great lesson. Which pickup are you using? On my Wolfgang this would be the neck pickup :)
This is the bridge pickup on my Wolfgang
@@LiquidCharlie Thanks for clarifying. Much appreciated!
Good stuff. Do u know the delay setting at second half of solo? Thanks
great video... what pedals and amp settings should be used?
Is there any kind of peddle effect with this or just overdrive? Just a new guy trying to get that sound, thanks
fuckin great
You kick ass!!
Any chance you could maybe show the solos to some of these songs?
Jackson Sisk oh yes, those lessons are coming
When you add the low E string (open) with the D octave notes (5th fret A, 7th fret G), are you adding the low E to the other two octaves (C#, B) as you descend with the open e/B notes interspersed in between?
Whats your guitar tuning and pedal setup
Who else thought this was the wwe smackdown theme
Yesddsssseseee
Is this standard tuning?
