Jamming with the Roland AE-01 and VCV Rack

Here I've put together a patch in VCV Rack that tracks the volume of a synth voice played by the Roland AE-01. The signal that results from that tracking (via an envelope follower) steers the rest of the patch's elements. As I play louder, the accompanying voices get denser and higher in pitch. The result is an overall control of a "band in a box", just from one source of input! There's no post-processing whatsoever in here, and everything's recorded directly from VCV Rack.

Thanks! Didn’t know I could do that, though I guess it’s obvious when you think about it.. that’s a great idea, maybe I’ll put up a google drive link or something like that. Though I’ll have to make a version that only uses free modules, so it’ll take a little while!
