From the map creators:
FPS: Avg > Average FPS over the entire run
P1 > 1% lows, the slowest 1% of frames, basically the lowest your FPS got over the whole run.
The results from this benchmark shouldn't be compared against real competitive matches, due to your client having to simulate the entire game, which doesn't happen when playing on a server.
This benchmark is 100% reliable and reproducible and as such should only be used to compare results against ITSELF, to check for config/hardware changes.
Can you record for 480 and 540 frames cap?
@@homeend7319 on this test you can see already the uncaped frames never got below 555 fps, so if you cap it to 480 or 540 fps the end resulte will be almost the same as the 400 fps cap. (with less 20 or 30 fps)
still dont compare this test with real gameplay (DM or 5v5)... the 1% lows on real gameplay are very different.
what do you do to the rivar tuner thing? you lock the fps on cs 400 fps and then on rivar or you do fps max 0 and then lock the fps in rivar?
fps max 0 when i cap with rivatuner.
so ingame cap is unstable and broken?
i would not say that but using rivatuner is better and remember "he results from this benchmark shouldn't be compared against real competitive matches, due to your client having to simulate the entire game, which doesn't happen when playing on a server."
when i play 5v5 on official server, rivatuner dont hold 400 fps 1% low, not even 300 fps 1% low all the time.
in my opinion, for someone who dont want use rivatuner, uncapped frames will feel smoother.
