- The Kugoo G-Booster Electric Scooter features 2 x 800W motors, 3 speed modes, 55kph top speed, disk brakes, and 10 inch air filled tyres! Today we're putting this brilliant electric scooter through its paces in this extreme off-road durability test video! I'm really excited to show you guys this content, it's taken a lot of hard work to film and edit it together for you over multiple days. The aim is to give you informative information about this scooter and at the same time show you its capabilities, it's going to be a bumpy ride so strap yourself in! Enjoy and thanks for watching!

This scooter offers a smooth and sturdy ride, and that added with those dual motors feels fast enough to cover some serious ground. The brakes installed on this scooter perform really well and can stop you and the scooter very quickly.

@@Epiqe 🤣 The G Booster isnt to bad if you get the seat for it it feels alot more like a motorbike than a scooter very sterdy and safe. Lots of speed settings aswell for a nice chill ride if you want.

how do you inflate the tires? did you use 90 degree shrader valve adapter?
I have one of these scooters, done 250+ miles on it now. And yes the motors are 1200w, some outlets report as 800 for some reason. Also if you think that's fast now you can go into the P settings and give maximum motor torque instantly rather than progressive as from the factory. It won't increase top speed but it gets you there alot faster. 👍. You can also change the settings to read MPH and turn on things like cruise control. If you need more info let me know.

Also I would like to know what is the real range that you get from the scooter ? In the vid they say approx 40 miles. Is that what you get ?
Is there any loss of power after some distance done in one charge (like only going to 40km/h after 50%charge...) ?
How the handlebar is attached to the deck ? (It seems the bar is fixed on top and is also going bellow the deck, seems solid)
Do you experience any looseness in the handlebar or in the fixation to the deck after some times ? Also does the brakes go loose after sometimes ?
Finally what about water resistance ?

Hold down the up and down arrow buttons next to the main display to activate Cruise Control, you'll see the word 'Cruise' appear on the display.

My friend got one of these yesterday and let me tell you now I’m ordering one now I was flying
20 miles is about 32km and in the video says there is 50% remaining which is another 32 km. The scooter says that it goes 85km in one charge which would not be realistic. I already got mine and this video helped a lot for that. Can’t wait to get it in a few days now!

Yes it has. Don't know why he said it didn't. Just activate it in the menu.

Brilliant scooter, I want one of these
just because the motors are 1200w doesnt mean they are running at that, the controllers probably have them running at 800w constant load so the motor does not burn out, during acceleration this will spike well above that, so i think the scooter output will be limited to 800w, but it probably does leave room for upgrade with a new controller, you could push this to 1200w quite easily.

also i think it does actually have cruise control you have to push both top and bottom button on the display thing then adjust one of the p settings.

I saw that you can switch from one motor to twin motors. When on a single motor is it front, or rear wheel drive? Cheers, I do enjoy your reviews.
Nick Staib My friend just got one, I can confirm it’s rear wheel drive when in single motor
It s 800w nominal and 1200w peak that s why it s wrtitten on the motor so 800w nominal means at lowest point of the power the scooter will only use minimum 800w and when you do full throttle and of course you have enough battery it will do an outpot around 1200watt hope i made it clear
So what is the top speed when fully charged compared to top speed when it is below 30%

That suspension is working well, you haven't mentioned bumpy ride once on all that grass.

How is the stem on this? I have heard after a while you get a little play in the bracket that holds it tight. It doesn't look a strong design

As a person that is 6ft2, I find the handle bars too low and I really have to bend to reach them. It's slightly uncomfortable. But the scooter is fantastic. Fast and fun.
I'm also 6.2. I am sure you will find all of them will be the same.
We have a schwinn scooter that is 15 years old and it still works!

I’ve got a £1000 to spend on a off road dual motor scooter what would you recommend??
I have one, bought around 6-7 weeks ago and it does have (10:29) "Cruise control" No idea why your example doesn't!
I don't use it too often though (and I have only tried a few times) It's just it seems like it takes a little too long to enable itself. It's like you have to *hold* the throttle so steady and for way too many seconds before it will engage. If you hit a bump whilst trying to enable it, your thumb moves on the throttle a fraction and it seems to start the process over again. Such a shame!
Saying that, once it *does* kick in, it's pretty good and it disables as soon as you touch the throttle or brake!

i have had puncture after just 2 weeks and cant find anywhere to repair it , tried sending back amazon but they have said no more stock , this is my second scooter as first was stolen but its also had puncture , does anyone know if they have a solid tyre for this scooter . i took last one to bike shop they did tyre but popped before i was back home and also eletricsx went after ,.

Suspension boxes on these r shit. U gotta upgrade them to be able to do anything really ruff I know iv been working on these for the last 2 years. And ride one everyday. And I'm a motocross rider so when I hit places on the kugoo I'm sendin it. But stock suspension boxes that come on these have no spring. It's just a metal rod with ridges bits on it that stop it moving in rubber packed box. One good blow of a landing your done. The wheel will rilub and the back end will sit low. U gotta upgrade to spring loaded

I take it that you are in Northampton! Can you recommend any good routes? I have a big scooter 2 x 1000 Watt, 11" Wheels 60 Volt and 48Ah battery with a top speed of 50 Mph. So I need to find somewhere that I can use it where there are not so many pedestrians.

@Jake Billing Hi I purchased a es4 ninebot scooter 6 months ago but have had lots of issues in that 6 months...So im looking to buy this as its cheap on amazon £879 and for that price it seems so much better than what I paid for the ninebot (£650) Is It worth the upgrade? You can get them but i've only seen parts on the geekbuying website, The main problem is the parts get shipped from their warehouses in China, They get shipped to their EU warehouses then sent via whatever courier/postal service they use, They advise shipping is between 15-45 days.

Positive :Very Fast, long range of the battery, 2 motors
Cons : The quality is not the best, very hard to inflate the tires, as the valves are very closed to the brake disks, the shit which is attaching the main tube to the stem is keeping unscrewing, making wobble the handlebar after passing through irregularitys. In the videos on youtube they look very good, but reality is another thing.
Inflating the tires is very easy to do if you take it to the garage and use the air compressor for the car tyres. 🤦♂️🤦♂️ fuck trying to put the proper psi in them without one. Can't believe the amount smount of people who don't have a clue about what they are on about but then go on to try and badmouth it.
shut it itry none fitted so i had too buy a special tool thrn take too bike shop too get pumopoed because i was too ill too do the job my self , i have loads of innertubes need more tires will buy in 3 months time.

@@timar4o i saw one video from poland..i did the same..i siliconed the areas where wires can be wet. But i dont have yet any long time remedy for the controls. I just have plastic on my pack..covering it when raining. Plastic and tape a must on my backpack.

Live in the same area and yes indeed it would make it there and back no doubt just be careful with the police as they aren’t legal to be driven on roads or cycle paths

I'm scared of it.
Id say it is the scooter is alot more chunky in the flesh than it looks in videos. Ive also seen a guy who hit a curb hard in you tube vid and his rim bent and buckled the swing arm seemed to be fine.

Yes you can it has a menu with alot of customizable options. You can turn cruise control on and off aswell and many other bits i dont fully understand yet lol
