Another great PUB match ! Team RED: Viop, Bomb2001, xM34, Nimble Shadow Team BLUE: Farmand1983, VoDaPoWa, STE2k, TigerBLUE (This match was played this evening).
Well. That was a slightly unbalanced match but as a pub one... => ok. 🙂 Viop and Bomb were not enough to carry their other two team members. I know xM is a sneaky and fast flag carrier and can shoot, but too fragile with Nyx against mediocre or good defense. In addition you've got this (prolly 41 years old) Farmand guy who also had high damage score. So the matchmaking-luck was on your side this time 😄. And that's ok. GG
Yer, I have to agree we had a decent edge with that "Farmand1983" guy, I don't think I've ever played with him before but he was our top scorer and with a KDR like that was clearly causing a lot of problems for RED. STE2k, VoDa and myself all put in decent performances as well...we had a very strong team. xM34 is an excellent runner but works best if the other three team members are solid damage dealers that can cause impact and distraction to the defence/mid-field, Nimble Shadow did OK but (in hindsight and ofc if it was a custom where we had control of these things) then switching Nimble Shadow on team RED with STE2k (or VoDa) on team BLUE would have balanced things out nicely I think. I wanted to post the video though as I think it should be a decent watch and I was very pleased with some of the defences I was making...although I was losing my concentration a bit near the end (when I knew we had won) I felt very sharp and making some great shots/defences for most of the match, I really enjoyed it.
