  • Trade union representatives are employees who are members of a recognised trade union and elected by fellow members within their bargaining group. The role is voluntary and unpaid, but Unite the Union provide training in employment law and negotiation to aid reps in their union duties, while employers are obliged to permit paid time off for trade union duties under sections 168 - 170 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992.
The role of a Unite the Union representative is to provide:
    - Help support and advice on anything affecting you at work
    - Representation to members in disciplinary and grievance hearings
    - Representation in negotiations with management
    - Consultation and communication with membership
    - Protection for your health and safety at work

So , Sharon Graham , who supports Starmer , and will attack its own Irish union leader , who also allows racism from her reps , as free speech , but shuts down the "Oh Jeremy Corbyn , the big lie " film , which is also free speech is putting out this load of lies . What a contradiction she is .
