cars will be slow. as we see in the current map the vehicles drive slower on sand than any other surface. even offroad vehicles are very slow on sand but it is kind of useful to get from place to place in a straight line
with all the oil around, id expect the US military to go full desert storm on the archipelago and wipe the zombies out, also the oil makers are called oil derricks
Flash hiders and muzzle brakes are not being added yet but will sooner in the future, the drums as well for the 5.56 weapons and 7.62 weapons will not be added back at this time sadly.
i am so excited for this update! the concept is so unique and just turning to current old crusty rusty map to sand could actually bring some people back.
Hopefully they make drinks and food more scarce, and night darker so the flashlights have an actual use. also thank goodness for the map and compass. that gives me serious apocalypse rising 1 vibes. fortunately i know the entire map in my brain.
Im not sure they will be doing something like that, since the game is already bad enough with dying of hunger and thirst. But the game being darker and the flashlights having a use I do agree with, they really have to step that up.

The utility items that act like perks to help you more is a great feature, the map and compass though will be in your inventory automatically when you spawn in. I find is amazing though I cant wait!

The gun cleaning kit doesn’t actually clean your gun, but what it does provide is a moderate increase to accuracy and less of a chance to emit a muzzle flash when shooting.

I found out about this a couple days later after I released this video, you will spawn with both utility items but with the other utility items being added and only having 6 utility slots, you may have to make room which means you will probably have to drop the map and compass. 🤷♂️

maybe if gusmanak would pay his contractors full time we would have the new map now. but lmh hutch loves to only work 5 hours a week and collect percentage and gusmanak cant do anything cause he has all the code base

the cleaning kit doesnt actually clean your gun, and guns won't jam or get dirty. all it does is improve fire rate/recoil. (one of the two)
