I love your show, Bill! Anyway, question. Do you feel that JS should have been questioned further on having two unused pregnancy tests in her bathroom cupboard? She said she had not been intimate with anyone for at least a year. If the tests were newer, why did she have them? Were they for Maddie!? Weird.
So if all of Maddie’s stuff is in JS bathroom, where was she supposed to brush her hair and teeth that morning? Oh that’s right, that poor baby was already gone and in his car. They are both guilty imo.
That's what I said. In my experience all kinds of demeanors work in the questioning and gaining confessions from perps. I just would have gotten a bit more aggressive as he started to lie. You only get one shot.
@@PoliceofftheCuff he's such a dimwit . @@PoliceofftheCuff No matter how many times his enablers try to excuse what he did. He had every opportunity to tell them where she was. He chose not to.
Bill, why are the rooms always apparently freezing cold in police videos? It seems super consistent in everything I've ever seen. I would think they would want people to be somewhat comfortable so they keep talking
He never walked the dog before, so perhaps by mentioning it they would ask him why he did it that day and he would draw attention to the fact he took the dog to stop Jen catching him moving Maddies body if she came out to walk the dog and he w
He must have dressed her body in the AM. That's why he knows what she was wearing. I think he must have carried her out to the car before anyone in the house was up. He had to strap her in with the seatbelts. It came out that he stays up all night and sleeps all day. So he is a night crawler. I think he went back to the body at least once- to maybe move it? or do something with Madeline's body. (something bad?) He could have changed her pants at some point while he was carrying her around in the trunk deciding on a place to hide her body, or returning to move her. I wonder if she was pregnant??? His parents say he was very agitated before going up for that 'visit'. That makes me think the murder was premeditated and his motive was to get rid of her because she was pregnant. If so, not thought through very well. How do you cover up the murder of a 13yr old girl? His cover-up is so weak he was easy to catch. That fact made me think at first it was accidental, or at least not premeditated. He tried to quiet her and she suffocated. Or he got angry and hit her, killing her. My rambling thoughts....
One question the detectives missed was the question of his and Maddie’s phone. He went back home with Maddie to retrieve the gate clicker, but he forgot to get his and her phone. They did a great job they just missed that question.
You misunderstood my question, supposedly when he took Maddie to school he forgot his personal phone and Maddie forgot her phone too. We all know that he purposely left both phones home because he didn’t want to be tracked. Then he said he and Maddie went back home because he forgot his gate clicker. Why would he remember to go back and get his gate clicker and not their phones. Why didn’t the detectives ask him you came back to get the gate clicker but not your phone and Maddie’s phone. If my understanding is correct Jennifer was the one who saw Maddie’s phone at home and decided to take it to Maddie when she went to pick her up at school.
My Question is could the cops confront him about the murder of Maddie if they didn’t have enough evidence at the time of the interview to charge him at the end of it???
Yes, they could confront him about the murder and in my opinion they should have. I knew once they told him they found the evidence on his phone he would lawyer up. They should have appealed to his self preservation and told him that if he cooperated perhaps the death penalty would be taken off the table.
He's tired because he was up ALL NIGHT driving to his parents house three hours away. He was trying to get stuff off the cloud?? Bet his body is getting exhausted. Take a lot of effort to do all the vile things he did

Note to all if they put you in a comfortable room depending on what you say you're more likely to go home. If they put you in a uncomfortable room on the uncomfortable chair you need to get a lawyer.
A room that is designed for interrogation should be non descript, no clock, no pictures, and a neutral color. A room designed for witnesses should be comfortable, friendly, pictures on the wall. a clock, etc..

SS’s fake croaky voice and fake yawns in order to buy time and appear out of it are infuriating. Him telling his fake story believing the whole time he had successfully wiped his phone.
Thank you for sharing your opinion! Your feedback helps us create better content, and I appreciate your honesty.
Sterns stopped yawning real quick didn’t he? Haha
He sure did
Stefan will "meander" his way to prison!
It seems like Stefan has a unique approach to getting into trouble! Let's see how it all unfolds.
I love your show, Bill! Anyway, question. Do you feel that JS should have been questioned further on having two unused pregnancy tests in her bathroom cupboard? She said she had not been intimate with anyone for at least a year. If the tests were newer, why did she have them? Were they for Maddie!? Weird.
Yes, that could be an area the investigator's should have explored.
So if all of Maddie’s stuff is in JS bathroom, where was she supposed to brush her hair and teeth that morning? Oh that’s right, that poor baby was already gone and in his car. They are both guilty imo.
It definitely raises some questions about their morning routine! It seems like there was a lot going on that day.
At a moments notice, law enforcement has to look Satan in the eyes. The bravery is astonishing. Hats off to law enforcement
Yes, absolutely
He has a completely different demeanor now in the jail being questioned than before!
Well he's now an arrested perp.
He seems to think he’ll be going home smh.
@@Woodman-Spare-that-tree Worms and slugs have similar expectations until someone steps on them.
THEY WERE NOT AGGRESSIVE AT ALL I HAVE SEE OTHER INTERIGATIONS WHERE THERE IS MORE OF A AGGRESSIVE APPROACH
Yeah they were kinda boring
The Detective were trying to press and get down on Jen.All she could say was " I promise if I knew I would tell you.Sterns is sticking to his story!
That's what I said. In my experience all kinds of demeanors work in the questioning and gaining confessions from perps. I just would have gotten a bit more aggressive as he started to lie. You only get one shot.
The bad cop in the room never said a word.
Amazing, for two idiots they sure are good at keeping the truth to themselves!
I agree with you. He knew he was toast, didn't even ask why he was being detained they had nothing to lose.
Yes, they lost an opportunity
The only thing left is motive.
Could it be Maddie was pregnant ?
Why else would he kill her ?
Yes pregnant.
It could be
@@PoliceofftheCuff he's such a dimwit .
If Maddie was pregnant , yes he would have gone to prison and all that , but he would have walked free at some point , now the last time he walked as a free man was when he walked into the police station for his last interview.
And he very well may get the needle.
Although he will probably plead to take death off the table.
But he is never , ever walking free and again.
All of the questions about Maddie cycle and lack of feminine products purchased or thrown away the previous month lead me to believe that she was indeed pregnant. Why ask those questions?
i love your impression of stephan sargent cannon
My comedy days sometimes comes out.
I love that too. Very accurate. Specially I’m sleepy because of the three jobs I don’t have lol
Oh good point Prof. He missed that he was the target (murderer). I cant wait to find out the timeline of the facts as LE knew them to be versus his interviews.

@@PoliceofftheCuff awesome as always ♥️

Bill’s impersonation of Stephan cracks me up every time!!
ABSOLUTELY

He's such a dirt bag

Sarge. Could you please do the next entire episode in your Stephan Sterns voice🙏🙏🙏
Funny
He lied about everything 🤔😡😡😡⚖️⚖️⚖️
Because he is the lie.
Yes
They gave him plenty of opportunities to tell them where he put Maddie's body and doesn't. Shows to me he has no remorse. This will go against him at trial.
It's definitely concerning when someone has so many chances to come clean but chooses not to. It raises a lot of questions about their character and intentions.
The reverse is true, you want the defendant uncomfortable.

He never walked the dog before, so perhaps by mentioning it they would ask him why he did it that day and he would draw attention to the fact he took the dog to stop Jen catching him moving Maddies body if she came out to walk the dog and he w
More be more nefarious than that
He must have dressed her body in the AM.
You could be right.
He was also a pervert with paraphilias and maybe he wanted to abuse a dead body.
One question the detectives missed was the question of his and Maddie’s phone. He went back home with Maddie to retrieve the gate clicker, but he forgot to get his and her phone. They did a great job they just missed that question.
He did, he picked up his phone, Jennifer took Maddie's phone.
Thanks for reviewing this. Just catching up, @ 56 mins SS is getting nervous, he says "leaning back in the chair", it's the car seat not a chair,
For sure
He's a moron.
Liar!! Both of them. Rest in Peace Maddie, fly with the angels now. ❤❤
For sure
Sgt Bill, would you consider doing a show about some of your cases you personally worked on when you were with the NYPD?
The format to this show is a National trending story. So to answer you for now, no.
@@PoliceofftheCuff
Fair enough it’s a good thought process
He's tired because he was up ALL NIGHT driving to his parents house three hours away. He was trying to get stuff off the cloud?? Bet his body is getting exhausted. Take a lot of effort to do all the vile things he did
You've got that right
Love !!! When you have Geary on

Hello sergeant bill!!🎉🎉 Hello 👋 from Kalama Washington.
Hello
Sarge you Crack me up
..everytime u say..my ativvaaann 😅I bust laughing..even tho it's serious material! Ty for the tiny comic relief...and yeah I thought the smaller cop was gonna rip sterns hair out😮
You are so welcome
I was shocked to see police with their guns on in room with Stearns. What are they thinking?
Something.. something.. training...
Not a good idea.
justice for maddie...sometimes i wish the roles were reversed...ss should be unalived. he snuffed out a beautiful young girl, took all her future and dumped her in a field with her future dreams. as for jenn, who received immunity, may she live with the memory of how her neglect and letting her daughter sleep with a grown man haunt her for the rest of her life, let her name and face be remembered forever. as for sweet and innocent maddie may her soul be at peace and rest. i will never forget her.
Justice for Maddie.
FAKE MAN ss MEETS REAL MEN. THE LAW
Yes, very true
He's exhausted from all the hard work it takes to spin his tangled web of lies.
And play with his toys.
Hilarious he sounds just like a little boy who has to admit to mom and dad that he was a bad boy trying to choke it out inch by inch scared as hell lol
He's warped
Note to all if they put you in a comfortable room depending on what you say you're more likely to go home. If they put you in a uncomfortable room on the uncomfortable chair you need to get a lawyer.
A room that is designed for interrogation should be non descript, no clock, no pictures, and a neutral color. A room designed for witnesses should be comfortable, friendly, pictures on the wall. a clock, etc..

Meds, sleep, meds, sleep…great routine
When you don’t have to have a real job.
When do you deal with life
Sgt Bill, Thinking on what you said about going at Sterns hard in the end, throwing the DP at him may have been the only effective way to get him to give up Maddie's whereabouts. He's already proven he's going to stick to his bs, no matter what.
We’re going to discuss this further on tonight’s show @ 9:30 PM EST
No one pressures him on anything. It might shake him up.
He finally looked up
Yes took a long time
I find him to be so Irritating.😡
Me too that face with beard they should shave that craft out ,,,just his name makes me nauseous.
Well, putrid scabs ARE very irritating and, they stink.
I appreciate your honesty! Different personalities resonate with different people, and that's totally okay.
He talks like baby talk or old man talk not like a strong 32 year old man...
I owe you an apology after Jen Sotos most recently released video. I don't think that she knew however she clearly was trying to defend a MONSTER 😢POOR MADDIE ❤RIP❤❤❤
