For two people who claim to be so anxious that they both had to take anti-anxiety meds, sleeping pills, etc., just to semi-function day to day, both Stephan and Jenn are awfully calm and in control being interrogated by detectives for the "R" and murder of her daughter. Would you be that calm????

    • @mtz6198

Neither is normal but they probably seem calm because they're medicated lol! Ativan or Xanex (or any number of drugs) can cause the flat calm affect we see here.
That said- I take Xanex occasionally and if you are in a crazy, emotional situation your emotions still come through. SS doesn't surprise me here. He's NOT emotional and knows what has happened already. JS... Something is just wrong with her morally. You could shoot me with an elephant tranquilizer and if I remained conscious somehow I'd need to be restrained if I was JS. Both from anger and wanting to RIP HIS FACE OFF or just from being a hysterical mess

@@FreakyGyrationsI don’t buy it. I’ve been taking benzos for 20 years, Ativan, Lorazepam, etc. It doesn’t remove your emotions, they prevent your body from going into a full blown panic attack. Jenn also said that Maddie thrashed, punched and kicked in the king size bed. People do tend to do that when assaulted in their sleep. Sterns had CSAM and bestiality on his electronics. He must have dressed her body in the AM. That's why he knows what she was wearing. I think he must have carried her out to the car before anyone in the house was up. He had to strap her in with the seatbelts. It came out that he stays up all night and sleeps all day. So he is a night crawler. I think he went back to the body at least once- to maybe move it? or do something with Madeline's body. (something bad?) He could have changed her pants at some point while he was carrying her around in the trunk deciding on a place to hide her body, or returning to move her. I wonder if she was pregnant??? His parents say he was very agitated before going up for that 'visit'. That makes me think the murder was premeditated and his motive was to get rid of her because she was pregnant. If so, not thought through very well. How do you cover up the murder of a 13yr old girl? His cover-up is so weak he was easy to catch. That fact made me think at first it was accidental, or at least not premeditated. He tried to quiet her and she suffocated. Or he got angry and hit her, killing her. My rambling thoughts....

We all know that he purposely left both phones home because he didn’t want to be tracked. Then he said he and Maddie went back home because he forgot his gate clicker. Why would he remember to go back and get his gate clicker and not their phones. Why didn’t the detectives ask him you came back to get the gate clicker but not your phone and Maddie’s phone. If my understanding is correct Jennifer was the one who saw Maddie’s phone at home and decided to take it to Maddie when she went to pick her up at school.
