Let’s just do the math… based on all the photos & videos of SA on Maddie would require many, many, many moments alone with Maddie over at least 4 years, unless Jennifer was aware. Since Jennifer barely ever worked & when she did it was part time, would equal only one thing… she was aware of what was going on because she was there all the time.

You undermine just how calculating predators are. He would have chosen his moments carefully. He would had ample opportunities when her meds kicked in at night to have access to Maddie undisturbed. He may well of used moments too when Maddie was asleep with the help of her meds…these types of predators are very clever at the grooming process!

I feel this was made up by the parents to use as an excuse for why SS acted in the many terrible ways that he did from ages 10 to 37. They said as soon as they learned that he was a lying, gas-lighter they immediately began to hold him accountable .. the Dr. asked them at what age they learned this & took these steps, and DS responded “when he was 35”. 🤦🏼‍♀️ 🤦🏼‍♀️

She does suffer mental illness though. Even if “only” bipolar. She’s medicated for that and other things. Tired and awful lot. Needs all of this extra sleep at times. Obviously doesn’t pay close attention enough, if she hadn’t a clue what was going on for YEARS. Yet had the thought process to claim that she relayed to SS that her worst fear was having things turn into a Woody Allen situation. Why would she say that if she at minimum SUSPECT he was abusing MS?
Going to college doesn’t make people not be neglectful and doesn’t make people not fabricate stories, (if that’s what she did). A lot of college educated people commit crimes and or just do stupid things in general.

You knew that sleeping as school was a sign before this case and hearing it on Court TV or on GrizzlyTC?
      Really you knew it?
I was always sleepy at school. It was the hardest thing to stay awake at those hours. Waking up early was the hardest thing for me and I would often leave school after my parents dropped me just so I could sleep. And I wasn't a victim like Maddie.
The perception is that a child victim would be sad, scared, avoidant of their a*er. Maddie was joyous, happy, loving towards Stephan. She went by herself to sleep near him. So it's hard to suspect something in that situation.

The problem is that DS & CS’s first interview with Detective Hunt just days after Maddie’s body was found, they were telling stories about themselves, how they met, laughing, joking, sharing memes with the detective. DS was even sort of flirting with the detective. In one breath they said they didn’t have a lot to do with JS & MS, then months later DS pretends she’s a grieving step-grandmother. I just see a lot of the behavioral stuff in DS that we see in SS; the fake tears is primary. In one breath she talks about how severe SS’s injuries were when hit by a truck, but states she refused to let the hospital keep him overnight because “germs”. There’s just some histrionics from DS.

It's not like the assault had just started. Times had been on going for at least 5 years. Look how careless he was. In her bedroom was a clothes basket. Madeline's dress is on the bottom and his boxers are right there in plain sight, on top. He had not been there for a couple of weeks. Those boxers should be on his butt. He just got there. He was not careful to hid the evidence of what he was doing to Madeline. When Jennifer was younger, she had visitors. They used a towel to clean up after $€x. She blazed them out for getting jiz on her towel. So she could see jiz on anything Stephan used. Madeline's clothes would be soiled. He did as he PLEASED. Jennifer didn't want to be alone and she kept him by allowing him to feast on her daughter. All she wanted to do was take her drugs and sleep. I think her depression was her main concern. Stephan was there to watch over Madeline encase Jennifer was too busy with herself. I think she really wanted to marry Tyler but his girlfriend at that time would not have it. So Jennifer got so depressed being alone ,pregnant, and no future. I think she medicates to stay numb. She once had a bright future and the pregnancy took that away. Instead of working her life differently she sank into a deep depression. She had different drugs for different reasons. When she was taking about Madeline's asthma inhaler she started to break down. I think she knows exactly how Madeline died. The lack of breath. She also made the comment she felt like she couldn't breath. But the inhaler caused her to react. Talking to police she gives hints about what happened with Madeline. She is there desperately trying to save her own behind. She really isn't trying to solve the problem of finding Madeline. She is try to defend herself. She is justifying her actions. They have to pull information out of her. She is even trying to take herself our of the target by pointing out Stephan a little. Tyler's wife called up a content creator and she said Madeline was not pregnant. But is that a fact or to just stop that idea.

I have a weird feeling Jen wanted SS to come back to Orlando so thats what she told him. It was a lie to bate him back. Thats why he was agitated when he left his Dads house to go to Jens. He believed her and freaked out and did something crazy. She was the one that triggered it with her lie and so they both realized they were going to be screwed. Thats when they came up with their dumb story.

She just started right when the case happened so I think she’s trying to come out with something before anyone else has. I’m not the only one that thinks this. “ The pregnancy rumor “ has not made breaking news on any channel and let’s think about this logically, why would Tyler’s wife or anyone who knows the absolute truth is gonna call this one RUclipsr who just started out and creating right when the Soto case happened, then to call somebody who has been out there, is reputable, has got a way bigger platform. It doesn’t make any sense . it’s a damn shame is what it is. I no longer will be watching her content myself.

@@lindaglover7088 Jennifer definitely has poor mental hygiene.
I can see a side of this that some others maybe can’t.
My mother also suffered mental illness, presumably due to head trauma at a young age as well as that her own mother passed away while my mother was a young teen.
My mother had a total of 5 children. The first two, being my older brother and me, who she walked away from when I was 2 months old. (My brother was 20 months.) She went on to have our 3 siblings. The middle of those three passed away.
In speaking with my youngest sibling it’s clear to me that our mother didn’t grasp the concept of what it truly meant to be a mother.
I began my parenting career early, (I was barely 18 years old). My second child passed away at 3.5 months. (My eldest at that time was 3.5 years.)
This sent me into a downward spiral and I had to step back and get my own mental health and life in check. It wasn’t easy and relinquishing custody to my children’s father was the hardest, and in the situation that followed was the worst thing I could have done.
I fought for many years to get my child back although I always had regular visits with her and I was never not in her life.
Years went by, I remarried, and eventually had my 3rd child.
      My two children are grown.
Sadly, both of my grown children struggle with their mental health, as do I still from time to time. Many people do.
But we’re all making it…sometimes faking it so we can make it another day. By the grace of almighty God, we’re here.
It’s so easy for people that aren’t in the soup to know all of the right ingredients.
While I sit here and wonder why the heck this woman did what she did, I also look back and ask myself what the hell was wrong with me. Why couldn’t I get my ish together and deal with life. (Notice, no question mark? Why? Because I don’t have the answers.
In regards to Jennifer, we likely will never know. She might never know, except to say that she thought SS cared for Maddie the same way she did and that answer will never be understandable or acceptable in the eyes of John and Jane Q public.
As for the reasons for her mental issues… again, who knows?
In this true crime genre many people are just here for the story and they want to know and have all of the answer that solve the riddle, until the next big story comes along. They want the story to go the way they want the story to go and they want to name all of the villains and be the judge, jury, and executioner.
For some of us, it hits home like a cat 5 hurricane.
As for Mr. Wallace, I know a lot of people feel sorry for him and his wife. As a vilomah, myself… that’s relatable.
The phone interview show/phone interview that he put on, as it turns out didn’t sit well with many people from what I can gather. I actually even had a bit of second hand embarrassment for him when the detectives shut him down on the banter. Even they seemed to think it was an act of story by how they spoke with him about it.
In my unprofessional and unsolicited opinion, he was attempting to 1) put on a show for the wife, 2) make sure to point out that his PDA toward Jennifer was a show for the cameras in case it made it to media where the wife might catch wind, and 3 paint Jennifer out to be the villain of all villains and make his woe is me story front page news.
As a parent who did not have custody of her child and made the choice to move to another state, I had an option between sitting around and making my former look like the villain and cry because I didn’t get to see my kid, or save every penny I could and get on the docket to establish out of state visit rights. I chose the latter because my child nattered to me. Her, (my daughter’s), father was and is an ass but he didn’t and doesn’t need me beating that into the heads of everyone who’ll listen. He’s done a fine job of that all on his own. But, I’m sure he would say the same about me.
In these types of situations it’s all about the perspective of the people listening after the fact. The people who don’t have, “skin in the game”, as Mrs. Sterns put it.
Both Ms. Soto and Mr. Wallace had a job and neither of them followed through and did their job. Maddie was a victim for every one of her 13 years.
There admittedly wasn’t even a repreive from that victimhood during the 4 days or more…if there ever actually were more, that she spent with Mr. and Mrs. Wallace. Not when the Mrs. was putting poor Maddie in the position to have to stand up for her own mother toward another adult in her life.
That’s just absolutely sickening to me.
That’s the type of thing that makes me hope against all else that the Mr. can keep his pants zipped from now on so he doesn’t bring yet another unwanted child into this world that will have to deal with the likes of his wife.

The professor said it’s the “nature” of parents to always want to “take care of their children” and I agree when they are CHILDREN. It’s the parent’s responsibility to raise their children to be independent, self-sufficient adults, not to continue taking care of them. This behavior only creates a dysfunctional adult-child like SS. At 37 years old, he was not holding down a job and his parents were paying his rent!
Now they’ve learned he’s not only a Pedofile but a Child Murderer and what do they do? They send him money in jail so he can have his treats.
I have a 37 year old son also and if I found out he did those things I would be grieving the loss of my son, along with the life of the child he took. I would not “support him unconditionally” as the parents defiantly said they would do. I pray for justice for Maddie!!!

Madeline telling the Stern's about the sleeping arrangements was a cry for help. She told in the only way she could, but it wasn't picked up. Jennifer did at the very minimum thought he was capable of molesting her child, why else would she of given him that Woody Allen nonsense?

She denied it, took his side, protected him. She made comments that she couldn't believe that he ever...she didn't want them to put out my name in the news... they'd arrest my "dad" put him in the brig and bust his rank and dishonorable discharge BAM! SHE ENABLED HIM for the benefits, retirement and the $$$. He allowed her to abuse and neglect so he could have me! EVEN WHEN BOTH were told about the other, NEITHER did anything for me! In my adult life, they still controlled me for years! (What I could say, who I could hangout with, where I could go... telling other family members and friends that I had problems, blaming a school I went to one year of highschool, etcetera. To this day, NO ONE has been held accountable and responsible! To this day, I have NOT been validated or vindicated. I am a "nobody" THIS happened in multiple states, many times, many ways. Now, although they were the biggest abusers and very neglectful, there were also other "family members" a cousin, my Mom's stepdad, a neighbor (good friends with Mom) her son.

Home's have mortgages, HOA fees, real estate taxes etc. Juan, turned the home, into a rooming house to collect rent to pay for the home's expenses. So, why didn't Maddie have a room? Because she was living in a rooming house with a mother who was oblivious to everything around her.

Yes I totally get Jenn's negligence and stupidity......but what Stephan did was heinous and not partially because he was "fed" a young girl who needed a place to sleep. Clearly Jenn is guilty of criminal negligence (and I expect charges eventually)......but don't dare suggest big boy Steph was just a guy with hormones put in a bad situation.

Well done, Sgt William Cannon and Professor Michael Geary, brilliant show !!! Truth revealed, thank you for being a light shining in the darkness.👏
Agree with Professor Michael Geary about Stephan Sterns' parents. Parenting is for
a lifetime, yes, their son has committed horrific crimes. If they abandon Stephan Sterns completely? Then, they do not fulfil their role as parents. Think of the parable of the prodigal son in my spiritual senses. This is the clear message of that parable. Yes, judicial consequences need to be served on Stephan Sterns, although Stephan Sterns' parents still need to continue their parenting skills and show parental love in all ways possible.
If we can try and put ourselves in Stephan Sterns' parents' shoes, walk a mile in my shoes, then maybe that will stop us from condemning them.
If only people would turn to God's Holy Word, parenting skills can be found in the Lords word.
We are in God's classroom of learning. Rest in peace, Madeline Soto. Feel sure you are safe in Heaven, where peace and love reigns forever. Amen, so be it. 🙏🙏🙏

I'm shocked no one is addressing that comment! That to me is an admission of guilt, and I'm sure SS attorney isn't happy about that, altho I'm glad DS stated that

I have been tough on these two because they knew SS had mental problems. I feel they should have done more to interfere with SS once they discovered inappropriate behavior from their son. I agree Jenn should be charged. I believe they wanted to be grandparents. However, again, they had a great influence on him. They could have demanded he live elsewhere or no support. No money in prison until you confess it all to LE. They are empowering his bad behavior. Especially the father has said things about Maddie that enranged me. In no way did Maddie deserve any of this. She did not entice or behave inappropriately as a child her age who isn't being manipulated by a fiend.
Everything they said about SS told me he should not be around children. They knew more about him that they let Jenn know. Not team Jenn either so don't go there.
Come on, the Disney Chanel? Is like $15 dollars. Nice to play grandparents but you follow up. Your son was that man and you cannot blame mom for his behavior.

Jen is not thinking normally. There is something very wrong with her. In a sense, she is very infantile. I’m a school psychologist and behavior analyst and this is my opinion.

I agree with you. All those meds and probably illegal drugs that she continues to put in her system perhaps is the reason preventing her from doing what a normal person would do in this situation.

@@MariaKoroleva.Realtor I agree. There is nothing normal in JS behavior. She is masking herself and using drugs to numb her brain. Her anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder symptoms have not shown in any of her interviews, which is a huge indicator that she is numb on drugs. Is the same behavior from her initial interview. Not normal, being deceitful, in denial, even when presented with facts she easily move away from reality, and that is because she is not in her real sense of life, she is hiding herself behind those drugs. Her behavior, not her words in que moments of her. Interviews are giving her away, they are really brief, but you got silence the interview and watch her actions, go back to her other. Interviews and watch the patterns. She definitely is acting and using drugs to keep her calm during her interviews, but reactions cannot always be controlled.

Absolutely! And the fact that they BOTH spoke of Maddi with closed ended statements all the time. "I can't do anything", "I don't know anything", "WE knew it was never gonna end" - if you care you are going through any and everything in your brain that can help. You wouldn't immediately jump to say her laptop be traced like Jenn did. You would HOPE it could, you would try. Just like Jenns family in that moment, innocent and hopeful they said "well, what if it's connected to wifi? Maybe it could get traced."
I really hope and wish for these types of cases that they take in specialists, that can break these perpetrators down properly. I don't think SS and JS are particularly mentally strong. They would cave.

I agree, they had time to think about their story before Stefan was arrested. If Stefan says that Jen knew nothing about the abuse and she says that she never saw any abuse going on, it may be harder for LE to prove otherwise, in terms of what Jen actually knew. I think Jen will have charges filed against her, at the very least 'failure to protect', by allowing Maddie to sleep in the same bed with Sterns.

@PoliceOffTheeCuff at 16:36 The hammer drops..IMO There are many more complacent people pretending to be parents. Jenn Soto is going to be the poster child of them all. When a crime as horrific as the fatal obsession SS had for 13y3day old Maddie rears its ugly head it's pitch forks and torches, rightfully so. I object to the term Pedophile. That means lover of children. IMO it makes the mental illness sound not as bad. I wish we could call it some thing else like woodchipper.

All I can say about the TBI is that he came home from hospital the same day. If it really was that serious then would the hospital let him home the same day? Just a genuine question. They are putting a lot of weight into this injury. As they are leaning into it as an explanation. I do feel for them even though there are clear indications of enabling. They did what they thought was right. There is no book.
