That's at the state level. This is on your governor not the federal level. Texas is not regulated by the federal commission for power companies You can blame your Republican governmental leaders for that and your Republican congressman and senators.

Why is there no help from the government?

  • @robertneighbors4091

You can collect snow from your yard in cooking pots and boil it down, add more snow, boil down more - - snow melt can be some of the the cleanest water on the planet. Also, get every bucket and pail in your garage and start packing them with snow to melt down - - this is your "raw" water you will be using to flush toliets. I just love corporate governance, all profits to shareholders all costs to the people. I feel sorry for the people of Texas but they need to rethink the costs of civilization and run the state for the people of Texas and not the CORPORATIONS THAT OWN THE GOVERNMENT. We the PEOPLE in order to form a more perfect UNION!!!

They have to make sure that the water is safe to use. So water safety & testing a must. Then all the pipes bursting, all over the place and as it thraws out. They need a few planes full of professionals from all over, to get that place back up and running! in a jippy! We're in this together, Love you Texas!!!!! ❤ 🌎

Media said to drip that water 5 drops per minute... whomever told them to say that needs to be fired. The water company could have delivered water in advance through the churches/organizations that provide food and warned them to prepare a week in advance, not "drip your water" after it happens because they are clueless about more than a day or two in advance about the weather. And did nothing to prepare for the people... and what will they get in return? More bills???? WE need AMERICAN COMPANIES taking care of TEXAS' needs!
