Love this in-depth content Cameron! That ruler guide is great, I've been working on figuring out stroke length for various distance but having a tool that can add some obvious visual cues is a great idea! Quick question re: acceleration: why do we need acceleration on the backswing of our putt? Is it ok to keep an even tempo back and forth or is that not good? Thanks!
Cameron. Awesome video! Do you have a suggestion for another way to gauge the acceleration back and coasting through in the coin carry drill for a putter that doesn’t have a back notch like for example a TaylorMade spider I’d love to use this drill with some of my elite level juniors who game mallet putters.
There’s a device called a skilz tray that works well. Additionally you could still use a coin on top of the spider however alter the task splitting it into a backswing rehearsal letting the coin come off the putter on the clubface side and then a forward swing rehearsal carrying the coin forward
