I love this woman's singing...the sound of her voice...This Thursday December 1 she premieres L'Amour de Loin at the Met...I've been waiting since January 9- her most recent Met appearance...A 21st century opera, composed and conducted by women, wild LED lights on stage, this is going to be historic. I'll be sitting in the balcony on opening night to see where she stands for her big number, then I'm going back to get a seat right where she will be...Tamara Mumford creates transcendent beauty out of whatever material she is singing...and her physical presence is unforgettable...I can't wait...
