I have been working on my novel for years now with this thing helping me over and over again
I believe the ending is indeed the sound of a crashing car.
I watched both versions of the story and one thing I was happy about was when Mikael actually ran (Fincher's Version) instead of waiting around and trying to find out who was shooting at him (Oplev's Version) and then running.
this track would go so well with Breaking Bad, especially the second half
perfect song,frozen,the heretics,pinned and mounted are the best to
Fun Fact: Noomi Rapace's last name (Lisbeth Salander in the original swedish version) means Bird of Prey

Riveting track. Wish the digital release included the version that plays when Blomkvist gets shot, it's just the bass and this rattling percussion that's absolutely riveting. The For Your Consideration version has it, though.
just came back from the film. I love this cue, my favorite from the score.
this is also used in the scene when martin vangar captures mikael and brags about killing all of those women.

i wrote the wrong word.i knew he said towels, but i was writing this as fast as i could and got them mixed up. my apologies. side note(a very subtle joke during a pre torture scene)
I do not know why but I think Nine Inch Nails also participated in the creation of this music.
