Grait video, and it really shows how is is as a swing, and you gues never get enough credit, because you guys, both swings and understudys, stand at the readdy to go no at a moments notice, even in the middle off the show. And it must me so hard to remember all off the different tracks you do, so you have the hardest job off them all, and truly don't get enough credit for you're work. And you are rhe definition off 'the show must go on' 😃🥰
Saw the show on Sat lunch time. Fab ensemble, super lead, and great production. Only one tangle I saw with the maypole ribbons haha. 2 little girls were very happy in their Elsa dresses!
That was fantastic! When you are learning a show as a swing, what sorts of things do they teach you? Like do you have to learn every track you’re covering and rehearse the whole thing swapping around tracks or is it a more general thing and they assume you will learn by watching?
You have to kind of learn yourself as your watching! Sometimes if one of the cast members is sick or out for a costume fitting we can jump in and have a go! Our creatives sometimes swung us in to practice cos they are really nice! But most of the time you have to learn it on your own and with the help of your fellow swings xx
Such an amazing video! I'm going off to uni/drama school this year to study MT and I've been so interested in becoming a swing, so thank you for posting this video! I hope you continue to post X
Hi, just wondering what happens to the frozen set when other acts come on on Monday's as Tuesday? do they removed the set or do the guests acts work around the set?
It’s someone who will be selected for a couple of parts and will stay back stage if someone can’t do the show last minute. It’s like an emergency secret back up plan.

What is actually a Swing? Is it like a kind of understudy for multiple parts? Is a track what you sing or how you move around?
LOVE YOU!!!

What app were your booking notes (1:17) made on?
found it in another comment "Stagewrite"
is that a wig cap over your mic or is the wig glued into place
Which app do you use?
