I don't understand why people are getting thumbs down for the bass remarks, they're right guys, no matter how die hard KsE fans you think you are, you think you would know when something sounds wrong, good band, just a few mistakes.
Killswitch is amazing...this just goes to show how the sound environment can vary from place to place and can help or hurt a band...this isn't the band's fault but the equipment they had to work with...
@FilIbanezShredder The other guitar player is Pat Lachman who played during this tour while Adam D recovered from back surgery. He was the lead singer of Damageplan and he played guitar for Rob Halfords band. I saw him play with them twice during their North American tour before Download.
this was their first song of the set, and so they were still getting sound stuff worked out, they were probably still nervous with all those people, and this song hadn't been out for all that long, so they were probably still getting it worked out live
adam was forced to leave the tour so he could fully recover from his back surgery and continue daily physical therapy.Josh Mihlek, the guitar tech for KsE replaced him for some songs, until August 14, 2007 if i can remember..
also another point worth making is that the band themselves have NOTHING to do with how loud or quiet each instrument is. The sound technician guys have control over the volumes of everything, and at festivals theres so many bands that they just have to do the best they can to get each band sounding as good as possible. Its hard to get them all sounding perfect volume levels cos it would take forever.
Jesse always said that the killswitch lyrics were spiritual, not religious. They want to send a positive message without alienating fans with different beliefs
He was probably just getting warmed up anyways, when people go to a concert it's not to hear the song with clarity and have it perfect, they have albums for that, it's all about the environment, and this crown was badass!

It's intentionally meant to hook fans into the song that quickly so they can get behind the wrestler, and when it was originally made, CM Punk was being cheered by the fans, to which he's not now. What that also did was get KSE's brand out there, even if the fans didn't like metal, they will still buy the album for that one song, which gets them into the band by extension
Nu Metal is metal with rapping/samples/DJ/Weird guitars/etc. (Slipknot, Korn, Mushroomhead, Limp Bizkit, etc.) Metalcore is metal and punk.(Killswitch Engage, etc)
Howard Jones= amazing Mike D'Antonio= super talent But seriously has there ever been a better metal vocalist than Howard? he's right up there with Bruce Dickinson and Rob Halford IMHO
