In all honesty apart from the tests I have only had a chance to use it once myself at a club dig but I really do like the simplicity of it! its also does appears to detect signals very deep.
I am just as interested as you to see the test on buried targets, also the recovery speed against iron appears to be lightening fast but I reserve my judgement until I have checked it out! so far so good and I am pleasantly surprised.

Hi Frank, its so difficult to spend the time doing in-ground tests, when I do finally manage to get out on a dig I find myself wanting to metal detect and not mess about filming etc. It is on my list of to do`s though. When it comes to testing I think it all depends what size the actually test item is? my coins where fairly small where as the Nokta coin was pretty chunky? Love the idea of the ring with the string tied! I do think this machine is meant to excel on Gold and Silver items.

I noticed that when you held the bare coins you held them perpendicular to the coil but for some reason when you switched to the coins in the plastic baggy you held them edge on, I don't know if this effected the test. Either way I really appreciate the video.

+VulcanBikeWizard Hello to be honest I never realised until you now explain it, If they were on the edge its likely the test would of been even better perpendicular etc. Best regards mrix

Hello, I have not used the golden sense in fields with stuble or wheat but I would of thought is would be ok as the search head is the heaviest part, I have been used to using an e-trac which is a pretty heavy machine so I got on ok with the Nokta machine, if your used to using a light machine then you will notice its weight after a few hours.
I am hoping to get out znd use the machine far more but I have been suffering from two months of very painful sciatica.
