Using old demos that would be in the rat race for Album 5 (Make Believe), I decided to construct a new album using the songs that I thought were memorable.

Hello everyone. If you want to download this album here is the link. This is the newer version of the album, which has a few tracks replaced and with slightly better audio as well as different version of songs. I am currently picking out tracksother tracks from the Album 5 session, as well as putting the original tracks and versions in a "deluxe" album. Whenever that comes I am not sure. Maybe in a week or so.

Funny how We Go Together teases the Getting Up and Leaving Riff in the beginning
that beginning lead guitar in 'we go together' sounds like almost an EXACT match to the lead guitar part in 'getting up and leaving'.
Weezer need to release like a "naked" make believe version with demos like this

The beginning of Everybody Wants A Chance To Be All Alone sounds a lot like Island in the Sun. Probably why it wasn't used. Cool collection of songs though- thanks for the upload.

they used to post the demos online when they recorded them for free download; over time people who actually downloaded them assembled them randomly into an "album" like this called homecoming.

Mo Beats sounds like the Better Call Saul theme
People hating on make believe are pretty stupid, it's a pretty flawed album but it still has some great songs in it, not gonna lie though, this demos are fire
people aren't stupid for having a different opinion than you. I like weezer a lot but I don't really like anything off of make believe.
@@KrikZ32 I think I expressed myself badly, I think that the overwhelming hate the album gets, like people saying the album ruined weezer, is stupid, disliking the album is totally fine.

This is a nice mix. I've been meaning to do something like this. Everybody Wants A Chance and Queen of Earth are probably my favorites from that time. I would have included Yellow Camaro.

The volume has been increased and the tracks have been made a little less "muddy". Although, listening to them now it does chip away at the ear drums a little too much for my liking 😔
