Finally! I'm so happy you have been able to complete this. I've been watching since the beginning. And, I had no idea it had a remote control and lights and stuff. That's crazy! And I don't blame you for not going for the Great Mazinger. This was a huge expensive process...and imagine trying to fit two of these things in your display space!
Hi Frank, I used to get them from Amazon Japan. It’s usually released weekly every Tuesday and it gets sold out within a couple of hours. Sometimes it gets released a day earlier. You have to cross check with the Japanese magazine release dates to find out the exact release date. The Mazinger one is complete and no longer available. The ongoing one is for Great Mazinger. Hope that helps.
The inner frame is 100% diecast and most of the external armor is diecast as well, apart from the Breast Fire Chest plates. I'd say it is 98% diecast. :)
It does add up to be very expensive. For me buying it weekly spread out the cost, but I know spending $30 weekly for this for a total of 100 weeks is actually expensive. I am sure there other priorities in your life that you need to take care of. There may come a time where you can spend a bit on toys like this, that can make you happy. All the best! :)

I would have liked to get the Great Mazinger if I had the space. And it also felt lacking that the Great Mazinger does not come with a base.
Amazing! Where do I buy this?
Great review, this Mazinger is a wonderful display piece, love the light and the rust hurricane effects.
The lights and sounds features provided a lot of fun and play value to this figure. I enjoyed playing with it a lot. :)
That is awesome!!!! Love Mazinger Z!
Me too! This is the biggest and best Mazinger Z in my collection. And there’s a great sense of satisfaction because I assembled it from scratch. :)
I knew it was gonna be big but damn that’s crazy.
Yes it’s so big that it cannot fit into any of my display cabinets. I have to display it in the open.
@@OptimusPrimeSG I bet you would have to have a huge one

It costs around USD35 per issue. 100 issues in all so it is about USD3500.
@@OptimusPrimeSG that’s a lot but thank you
