Boss how to confirm which wire is positive or negative ? how to test using Multimeter ? Need to switch on the car ?

Easy way is insert both the wire into the socket and see if the USB port light is on, switch the wire if it doesn't on, ensure it is on then only u use the quick splice wire connector to tap on the wire.
