  • If you've ever owned a Simpson pressure washer, you know they're some of the best in the business. Now Simpson's taking that a step further with their new Pro series. Featuring their top of the line CRX engines, and AAA pumps the pressure washers we reviews in this video are delivering some of the most impressive and reliable performance we've seen from Simpson to date.
The new Pro series pressure washers come in 3 configurations:
The PS61374 with 3500 PSI and 2.5 GPM
The PS61370 with 3700 PSI and 2.5 GPM
The PS61371 with 4000 PSI and 3.5 GPM
Like I mentioned, all of these pressure washers are equipped with a CRX engine and you can find them at Lowe's!

Two of the pressure washers that I want with the Honda engine are discontinued so I might have to go with one of these.

CRX engines are manufactured in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, the honda engines of same design are made in china.

I'm leaving this comment with as many PW reviews as I can ....... DO NOT neglect to add pump conditioner ( anti-freeze solution ) to the pump after using . I have just had 3 units to go down because of this . THEY make a big deal out of " Winterizing " these machine , BUT the real problem is pump corrosion . These pumps have an alloy casing that corrode if water is left in the pump , an anti-freeze solution will prevent this . Some of these pumps are not available as replacements and others cost more than the machine !!! Did I say Cat ?

Why do the Honda engines cost twice as much?

Honestly a small engine is a very simple machine, you really would have to go out of your way to make them unreliable. Those crx engines I'm sure are sourced from the same factories that make predator engines which are proven to last plenty long and at a far cheaper price point. I know people want honda because they are of the highest quality and hold more value but these crx engines are just fine and will last however long a honda will, it just doesn't hold it's value as much.

The pressure washers shown in the video all have Simpson engines. However, Simpson does make similar models that do come with Honda engines along with CAT pumps.

All the frames need a redesign. They are so awkward when manually moving it to a job site. Total back strainer IMO..
